Installed a new clutch in my 2004 Mitsubishi triton.After receiving the car back it would not select first at all.I returned the car back and they said it was an issue with the selector bushes and it had been repaired but they couldn’t source a new bush.I ordered a new bush kit and found that the bushes were perfect and the issue was they had lost one of the bolts mounting my selector to the top of my gearbox.The replacement bolt they had used was too long and had been driven through the top of my gearbox and into the selector stopping it from selecting first gear. In addition it had been completely stripped causing an oil leak.This is extremely rough and sloppy workmanship. I understand everyone makes mistakes from time to time but this is extremely rough and lazy from a professional mechanic. They had two attempts at completing the works correctly and failed.On a positive they did a fantastic job on my clutch it feels fantastic!

Short notice & same day collection that was affordable!! They replaced my starter motor and they beat the quote that I received from a few other garages in the area. All in all 10/10 experience. Lovely service. Staffed by older gentleman who seemed super down to earth and knowledgeable.The building was a bit tricky to find if you rely on google maps (the internet kind of lies to you when getting there) BUT I just called up the shop and the blokes there were efficient with the verbal directions and helped me navigate the tow truck into their bay.They were men of their word and I'd gladly use this shop as my local for repairs & potentially even services!

Whitbourne Automotive is by far the best mechanic I've come across. They are hard working and honest. Unlike other chain brand mechanics Peter is honest with the work that needs doing and the price. I would send my own mother here!
