Helen has been teaching our daughter for a few years now. Helen has introduced my daughter a wide array of repertoire and she has such a unique way to connect with all her students through her infectious energy, encouragement and a highly targeted approach. She stretches my daughter often in order to develop her own interpretation. Helen's also one of the hardest-working music teachers I've ever come across. She often puts in extra time for the lesson to ensure our daughter completes the tasks and gets it right. And she does that with all her students. Both myself and my son are attending Aunty Helen’s piano lessons. We both started off as beginner and experience 2 different style of teaching. As for my 9yo, she is very patient and knows very well how to handle kids. She is able to give out enough motivation while not compromising the techniques that he needs to learn. The teaching style is fun and without pressure. But when it came to an adult, even using the same set of piano books, her teaching style changes to intense and full on, filling up your plate as long as you can digest. She really opens up my eyes of what a matured student can achieve in just one year. Aunty Helen is very experience in teaching and knows exactly how to bring out your full potential!
