This place is certainly not 5-star, more like 3 star at best. Wi-Fi does not work (which inevitably means no access to movies, Net Flix or any other relevant apps - runs off one cable), stains on carpet, no soap dispensor in shower, front door does not close properly, cleaning left overnight and outside, not well insuluated from noise and staff not helpful. It was evident that the Owners have not invested needed funds to upgrade standards. Not sure how you can advertise the above benefits, not recieve them and then pay full fare as per staff requests. Frankly I find this unethical and dishonest. I did ask for a refund within 2 hours of arriving and was informed that Management does not take calls at 5:30pm. Response was somewhat bizarre and unprofessional. That said, Port Stephens is a wonderful place and I highly recommend you visit the location and enjoy quad biking (Quad King), bush walking, golf and a raft of other issues.

I had a wonderful stay at Oaks Port Stephens Pacific Blue Resort! The room was clean and comfortable, and the on-site restaurant was a great added bonus. But the real highlight for me was the amazing swimming pool - reportedly the longest in Australia! It was such a joy to be able to swim there. Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Check and in and out easy, car parking plenty..rubbish bins nearby. Quiet area. Trees and scenery relaxing.Swim out room was awesome. The flooring of pool does need a clean though infront of our room..Did need a bottle opener.Restaurant was great for cocktail hour and food sounded fancy, maybe a little simple food too on offer. Pizza was good and service was friendly.Lovely and tidy.Clean roomShame the wrap round pool wasn't heated.Loved the outdoor furniture.Need a car if you want the water and shops and restaurants.

My husband and I just stayed here after wanting to for many years. Obviously summer would be a much better time to stay, however, when we arrived on the Friday I had the first shower and there was hair on the walls - both long and short. Our bed was 2 single beds pushed together which wasn’t very comfortable.. I feel like our room could’ve been cleaned each day but it wasn’t. I just felt very dirty staying there. It was located more so in the town too so it wasn’t close by the water, which was only a 10 minute drive though.

It’s a really nice resort, the wrap around pool is a great feature and ability to park up in front of your building is super convenient. It’s in a central location and the staff are super friendly. Only things letting this resort down is that it is really showing it’s age - the fixtures are broken, the bi-fold doors in our room don’t close shut, every door slams hard without assistance, tiles are dirty and furniture is run down.

This is definitely a really lovely resort. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. We had a hotel room near the pool and in close proximity to reception and the restaurant. We did experience some issues with pricing even though we booked very early for our stay - this was resolved by the time of our stay.

I'll start from the beginning, the check in process was very awkward, and the lady at reception was not really friendly and wasn't very helpful. Got to our room and the room was very underwhelming. Everything was dusty, sneezed so many times (god bless us). And there was cracks and dent in the wall. The drawer and blinds were broken (flashing everyone). The toilet flushing system was horrible, would flush for ages and very loud, good luck trying to sleep through the flush if you have to pee at night. We informed the staff which they basically said they'll get maintenance but they never came?????? We requested new room they basically ignored that. The only good thing about this was the lagoon pool view but better off get a different hotel with a beach view and better service and room.

While the phone in our room didn’t work to call through to reception, and the tennis balls are at the end of their life which makes playing tennis a challenge ha! this place is still always great. Rooms are tidy, pool is well maintained, as well as the spas and the gym area. Staff working around the grounds are friendly and super helpful.

The Oaks Port Stephen is a great place for family. You have this great lagoon pool that wraps around the whole place. The only unfortunate thing is the pool water is quite cold. The place can get quite crowded and loud, so it's not a 'relaxing' holiday, but it is fun. My interaction with staff was great, but I was there with other people who didn't find staff friendly. I recommend the lagoon apartments if you want a spacious place and a semi-swim out. The place is tidy and clean and most rooms have all the amenities you need
