Better late than never, as they say, but I cannot recommend Carnarvon Engineering and the proprietor, Ian Smith more highlyA friend and I were heading to Exmouth for a week long fishing trip in May 2021, when approx. 100km north of Carnarvon my boat trailer had a catastrophic bearing failure which resulted in one of the rotor hubs nearly severing the 40mm axle.After returning to Carnarvon with the help of the RAC, we needed to get the trailer fixed ASAP so as to not lose too much fishing time.I can honestly say without the assistance of Ian and his willingness to prioritise our repairs, we would have been lucky to even get to Exmouth. As it was, within 30 hours of Ian receiving our damaged trailer, it was fully repaired and we were back on the road - and ended up only losing one day of fishing.The trailer has not missed a beat since and we couldn’t be happier with the repairs. The 15 year old trailer is better than new! Thanks again Ian!
