We are big pie fans in our household but I'm sorry but the pies we bought for a late arvo snack were not good at all. Our 6 and 4 year old boys who demolish pies only got partway through their plain beef before giving up. I shared a beef and potato and a beef cheese and bacon with my wife and they were both far from edible. The bacon tasted really porky and the beef mince was no good. I also bought 2 serves of chips and they were just weird, the only thing we could come up with to describe them was that maybe they had fried prawn crackers in the oil before cooking the chips. Do better guys.

Great bakery. Excellent assortment of pies and cakes. The Apple slice was the best I've had and wish I'd bought a few more.Pies were lovely and fresh. Picked some scones up for mum and she loved them. They even sell prawn crackers there. Fresh rolls, bread. What a bakery should be. Will definitely be stopping there on our next trip at least twice. Bravo to the staff who run it.

Lovely spot for dropping in to get a quick bite to eat. Heaps of choice and everything looked fresh and tasty. We recommend the pies and can confirm the banana bread is absolutely delicious!

not that great over cooked cold pasties, dry meat pies but if you enjoy the avg bakery pie might be ok for you.

Got one of their steak and mushroom pies, fairly oily, decent consistency on the pastry but the taste wasn't as grand as my last visit a few years back. The filling is quite standard on flavours, textures and the overall taste. Its good for a well organised Local bakery but I can honestly say Mrs Mac's Beef Pies alone would give this visits steak and mushroom pie some major competition. They are reasonably priced at the bakery, I just wasn't reminiscing over the past great experiences that they had given.Give them a go, the bakery has definitely surpassed expectations and deeply impressed me before just not this time, so it might just be a luck of the draw. I'd recommend supporting local, and perhaps their other options are better.

Great selection of savories and sweets. Good prices and friendly staff. Bit tricky finding a park with so many people there and at the markets but worth a walk if you can't park near by.

Picked up 3 pies and a sausage roll for family this morning at 7am so you would assume they were a fresh batch from the morning. Unfortunately, the base was hard as a rock, all the 3 pies were dry inside and the pastry seems crumbly.Should have went to iga for a frozen pack and microwaved it, would have been nicer.

Always loved stopping here on my way up north. I had a potato pie today and it was cold und the pastry was way under cooked. Sorry to say, but easily the worst pie I have ever eaten. Luckily the coffee was ok

Thought it would make a nice arvo treat to stop in here, 4.1 stars is pretty good. Arrived 15 mins before closing hoping there would be something left, the pie warmer was absolutely choccas so we got a mushroom pie and they had scones on the table without prices (we’d hoped they were going cheap at the end of the day). $18.50 for one terrible pie and half a dozen tiny overcooked scones. Would not go back.
