Daylesford Olympic Swimming Pool

Beautiful outdoor pool. Very clean and well looked after. The water is cold but so lovely. Staff super kind and helpful.

Nice old-style pool, it's like stepping back into the late 70s! Right behind the main st and very central, there is a big lap pooll and a nice shaded toddler area above, with quite a lot of places to sit in the shade and watch. The facilities are pretty basic but fine, but given it is so close to all the shops and cafes it's easy to duck and get stuff if you need it. Well worth a visit!

Perfect Free and Clean open swimming pool+ toilet + hot shower + wifi free around.I sticked around 3 days / weeks for sport and work with wifi.Thanks a lot to Daylesford and the council !

Great outdoor pool. Spotlessly clean. Could do with a bit of a face lift. But the awesome staff, great diving board and cheap icy poles far out weighed it's tired look.. We will definitely be back!!!

A beautiful free Swimmingpool (never seen one in Germany) where we also got offered free fruits - keep up the amazing work :)

A real find. While everything else is 'boutique' or 'spa' in Daylesford, this is a good old fashioned lido for locals. I loved it. The Council should make a substantial investment to bring it back up to standard. Dusty threadbare lawn is not a good advert, at least re-seed and water the lawn. The staff are good and the kiosk prices right for local school kids.

The staff do their very best in the face of all the town teenagers performing their mating rituals and ruining the experience for everyone else. If you're not a guy who people cross the road to avoid (like I am) you might find it too intimidating. That said, there really isn't much else for the kids to do in Daylesford, besides take the trolleys from Coles and destroy them up at the skatepark.

We came as travelleres and enjoyed it so much! It was even free, how crazy?!

Daylesford pool is great for our locals and visitors, however it is lacking shade sails to protect our children against severe sunburn. My son has been burned badly due to inadequate facilities.No matter how much he applies sunscreen, due to wind or water reflection getting burnt can be inevitable. This needs to be addressed and prioritised so our children have the best protection.Unlike adults children spend nearly all their time in the water.The pool is the only summer social activity where our children can go and keep cool locally on hot days in the company of their friends.The installation of shade sails are a necessity". Less worry for parents and more enjoyment for our children without severe sun damage to their skin"
