Specialist Dental Centre

Booked in to get a job done for 28k two implant teeth. Agreed and it's been impossible to communicate and get anything underway. Get told will call back or email and it's like they don't even want the job. Not sure what Dr Patel is making if he is not even booking jobs in but it's been nearly two months of procrastination and I've limited options but must seek help elsewhere. Not sure how you can stuff up a 28k job but they have.

I have never been to any other specialist centre who's staff were who so rude and incompetent until I came here!! I wish I had a look at their reviews before I made my appointment! I arrived on time. However, I was told I was 15 minutes late as I was told to arrive 15 minutes prior to my appointment. I told the rude receptionist that I wasn't told and my text confirmation message also didn't say to arrive 15 mins prior (I showed her the message on my phone but she refused to read it). She rudely said You were told and I'm not going to argue with you! Take a seat and Dr Conway will see if he can fit you in between appointments".So I patiently waited in their waiting room for 45 mins with my 16 and 2 year old sons. There were patients that walked in after us and were put in to see Dr Conway right away. I then politely asked do you know how long it will be until I see Dr Conway? The receptionist said we're still waiting on Dr Conway to let me know. I then said I've been waiting for 45 mins and you still can't let me know? So I had enough and asked for my referral and scans back and have booked elsewhere."

360$ for a consultation that was an hour behind the scheduled time. Dr Patel was not polite, saying my current mouthguard was rubbish (he could say it was not good in other way). I felt like I am on interrogation cause he was standing above me while I was sitting in a regular chair (not on the dentist yet). At the beginning I also had to say all the things to the nurse and then repeat pretty much everything to the doctor. The approximate cost of the all procedures he recommended were 130 000 AUD. To be honest even if I definitely needed all of these and I had these money I would not go to this clinic. Also I asked what kind of technology they are using for bite check, he said angrily that hands and eyes and he has 20 years of experience. Impo Experience not always means quality, some people work in the industry all life and still not great, when others work a little and already doing good. In my opinion dr Pater might be a good manager but not a good doctor. Waste of money and time.

Dr Siddhanta did extensive work over many visits, and did a very good job. He took the time to do the work well and explained the process along the way. He explained the alternatives and was happy to do what I wanted. It wasn't cheap, but worth the money. I recommend him and the Specialist Dental Centre.

Dr Siddhanta and all of the team at the Specialist Dental Centre are outstanding. Right from the girls on reception who are so friendly and welcoming to all the staff that work there. Sid puts you at ease as a patient and is excellent at making a Dental visit way less stressful and easier to get through. I have been going there for a couple of years now and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for specialist services. Thanks to all the team for making something that can be pretty unpleasant a good experience.

I recently had my 15+ year old veneers replaced by Dr Siddhanta and replacement veneers applied. He was extremely efficient, explained the procedure thoroughly and made sure I felt completely at ease with the procedure. He matched them perfectly to the teeth whitening procedure applied by their amazing Oral Hygienist Ashleigh, and I could not be happier with the result! It has improved my confidence beyond belief.I could not recommend Specialist Dental Centre highly enough for their professional and attentive care. Dental work can be anxious process for many people and the team were beyond fantastic at ensuring everything was painless and the end result was astounding!Thankyou so much team!

I am terrified of undergoing anything dental and have a very high degree of dental sensitivity. My trepidation at the prospect of extensive dental work over many months (years if you include the orthodontics) was immense.Dr Siddhanta (Sid) did all he could to reassure and to assist with pain and anxiety management while doing some wonderful work. I am left now with teeth I am happy to smile with and the reassurance that the pain I was suffering, which has now subsided to a very large extent, will eventually be a thing of the past. (Apart from when I have something very cold to eat or drink.)Thank you Dr Sid for your perfectionistic attention to detail, Emily my usual dental nurse for your soothing and friendliness, and all the reception staff for your friendly and positive input.I would most sincerely recommend Dr Siddhanta to anyone requiring Prosthodontic work.

Dr Siddhanta was very caring throughout my treatment. He ensured I was never in any pain and made me feel very comfortable at every appointment. I am extremely happy with my veneer result and appreciated his persistence in achieving the best possible result. I would highly recommend Dr Sid.

I experienced a personally and financially very expensive exercise at this practice which, incidentally, came highly recommended to me. My first contact was with Dr Patel who was an hour and twenty minutes late without an explanation or apology. He then persuaded me to undergo a thousand dollars worth of tests before making a “plan” although I said right from the beginning I could not afford to spend tens of thousands of dollars on my teeth, especially at the age of 77. Once the plan was outlined, I asked if there were any other options and he reacted angrily and refused any more discussion. Another $360 consultation with Dr Siddhanta basically had the same bottom line but was more pleasant at least. So, I have spent $3500 on tests, X-rays, consultations and plans to date only to be told they can’t help unless I agree to the whole plan, conservatively priced (by me on information they gave) at over $100,000. I found the whole experience upsetting and ultimately useless not to mention expensive. I do not think this is good patient care and could not recommend this practice to anyone.
