Having bought my food from Savages Seafood on numerous occasions in the past they have been great however this last week their chips have been over cooked and some burnt, not the golden crisp chips they used to cook. I’m not sure if it is to do with them going to thinner chips recently or if they have changed the oil they cook them in. I used to be able to keep 1/2 the chips for the following day and heat them up in the oven and you couldn’t tell that they were reheated as they were so yummy. Alas, not anymore. On a positive note, their prawn cutlets are the bomb!

Every time I passed by this restaurant, people were always waiting, so I was always curious about the food here, but one day it seemed quiet, so I tried it. And I realized why this place is always crowded.... The fish was soft and delicious, and the seafood skewers were delicious. Especially I really liked the fries here. It looked so plain, but it was so perfectly crispy and soft. It's a taste that makes me wonder how the hell they made it like this. When you eat food here, don't forget to sprinkle the seasoning salt provided outside.

We've been going to another seafood shop on Bribie for a lot of years, it's been getting a bit ho hum We saw this one and gave it a go. I placed our order and it took very little time and it was ready. There were a reasonable number of customers around so I was pleasantly surprised with the speed in which it order was ready. We were NOT disappointed. The food was beautiful and the portions were huge.... too much for us to eat in fact. We will definitely be back.

Best prawns I've had in any Australian restaurant!! Very pleased with everything we ate. Awesome calamari. They have a huge selection of yummy seafood. Every one of the staff that we encountered was excellent... efficient knowledgeable helpful and positive. Will definitely go back and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!

After driving past on the weekend, it seems that this fish n' chippery has a dual personality. It's a busy place on weekends when the customers queue for their takeaway and then go to the grassy areas around the nearby jetty or weekdays, when people can eat their meals at tables and watch the world go by.We had a good look at the seafood on the cabinets and really liked what we saw, an excellent selection of fresh fish, well presented and reasonably priced. Moving on to the cooking area, there is a wide selection of fillets and prepared to select from. We could not go past prawn and scallop skewers, fried calamari rings and prawn cutlets. In a few minutes, our number was called and everything was good.The Prawns and scallop skewers were grilled perfectly and the crumbed calamari and cutlets perfect! This is the best I've had in ages!We'll be back ....

Wanted to eat the best fish & chips in Bribie so came to check out this venue based on existing reviews. Was pleasantly surprised by the range of fresh seafood for sale. We ordered the pack for 2 and we couldn't finish it. Everything was crumbed to perfection & the chips were really crunchy.

Have been three times over the last 2-3 weeks. The fresh snapper chosen out of the display window has been perfect on each ocassion and you would be happy to be served it at any recognised Seafood Restaurant. It was cooked perfectly i.e. not overcooked or dry. Highly recommend!

Rang to place a phone order today. Ordered $5 chips extra chicken salt, 1 crumbed snapper and a gravy. Got there and was told $42. This is our order.

Went here with my daughter when Sylvian Beach cafe was unexpectedly closed.Huge queue, but that's normally a sign that the food is good.The fish was delicious... chips not so great. They lacked flavour. Even with chicken salt, the potatoes were either old or of poor quality.Great atmosphere, dog friendly, and wet wipes on the table to clean up any mess or sticky areas.My only complaint would be someone had their dog up 'on' the table where people eat.
