Been there a couple times now coffee isn't the best here and didnt really rate the sausage roll ether but! Staff are extreamly friendly and their Danishes are insane super yummy. Deffinalty go here once to give it a try

The best pies I have ever had. And I have had heaps and heaps. I'm also a baker that rates my own pies but these are way way above any other out there. The almond croissant was also probably the best I have eaten. I have driven to Kyneton twice this month from Melbourne after discovering this gem.

even after two hours drive back and reheating in the oven, the pies and sausage roll is still delicious and flaky. Definitely worth the drive. :)

Loved the whole place - located in an old mill. So authentic regional feel to it.Plus the bakery products were just so so good. Cannot recommend it more

Ordered the Mushroom Pie and Vanilla Slice.Both were delicious and good value for money considering the size and quality.However would have liked the pie to be hotter as it was only warm.It would be nice to have an option of a salad on the side to add a bit of freshness.Loved the old charm of the building, but the place was quiet and didn’t have much vibe. Even just adding some music to match the charm could elevate this experience.Overall, I enjoyed my pie.

I stopped here by chance while visiting Kyneton.It was near close time, so they had special, 2 sour dough bread for $10, 3 pastry for $10.It’s good deal, so I bough both.The pastries were delicious !! Crispy and flaky !!(I forgot to take photos as I ate in seconds)Bread was very nice as well.Next time I like to eat in as cafe is very nice vibe.

The pies are absolutely delicious here! Had a mushroom and beef pie and a ham, cheese and bacon pie and both were so so good - flaky pastry, saucy but not too saucy filling and just the right amount of saltiness. Thanks for sharing these pies with the world! Highly recommend. Friendly service too!

Grist Artisan BakersWow....a stop on our AmazingCo Mystery picnic. A busy place and we can see why. We came for bread and quiches but who could resist those meat and spinach and cheese sausage rolls. AMAZING! Ogling eyes spotted delightful looking cakes and pastries. We will be back for these on our next trip!

Bread was very good, tasty and a good price. Everything else very tempting. Must taste good based on the locals queued up for a great range of pastries.
