Worst service, my bf regretted going there, they cause frustration to customers. They have been fixing my bf car for 6 months but there is still no progress and they also keep on lying. Not recommend this shop . WORST

My late model Toyota Camry was involved in an accident earlier this year and there were many delays in getting parts, particularly relating to the radar and front sensors. The delays were significant - I'm talking months here. However, this was out of owner Scott Munro's hands and the level of communication I received was, overall, excellent. The service over the phone from the other office staff was also of a high quality and I couldn't fault them in this area. The quality of the workmanship when the car finally came back was superb and the car looked like it had just come out of a dealership. I was very impressed. The Ford Focus loan car provided at no charge, while not new, was clearly well maintained and reliable. I have nothing but praise for Melton Body Works for the way they treated me as a customer and not just a number on an insurance claim. Top marks, highly professional and recommended business!

Would not recommend!Insurance claim. Had to fix a smashed bumper and tail light. The job took over two months to complete and once the car was returned, there were more faults with the side of the vehicle they supposedly fixed. The Insurance company told me that I had to give them a chance to try and fix my vehicle again. The faults were quickly assessed and I was told that they didn't cause the issues but they would happily quote me on getting them fixed. It's been three weeks and I still have not recieved the quote or any contact from them. My personal mechanic has now assessed my vehicle and believes they did a dodgy job and broke some parts within the car.I'm not mad, just disappointed!

STAY AWAY FROM THERE.....it takes one month to do the repair. After that they towed the car to my door step with flat tyre. Call them to fix it thay said call to racv or do yourself and send the bill.

My car was re-ended at a traffic light, minor impact damage dents and scrapes. Scott and his crew properly fixed my rear bumper by machining the metal back to its original state, not applying filler, and matched my car colour accurately. I am very happy with the work and recommend this body shop.

I went to two other panel beaters in melton one didnt want to have a bar of me the other said 4mths + to get work done but Scott at MBW got our car in within a few days and once insurance was sorted he got onto fixing it up .and the car looks brand new . So ill recommend MBW every single time im asked to recommend a panel beaters

DO NOT SERVICE/REPAIR CAR HERE!!! Worst customer service, horrible communication, and you’ll be waiting months yo get your car back. I had my car book through RACV, as recommended and since November, I’m still waiting for a simple rear bumper replacement that I could have done at home within hours( racv policy to use repairer) waited until due date, no call so went to pick and was knocked back saying the car isn’t ready to pick up and I shouldn’t have came as they didn’t call me, I was told to come back next week. A week goes by, still no call, this time I decided to call them, once again my car isn’t ready, because someone ordered the wrong parts, waited another week, still no call from Melton body works, so I called again, car no ready, excuse mechanics got covid, understaffed, father is ill, so and so, told to wait another week, this has been going on for almost two months and since they close fro Christmas they decided to set that date for my car to be ready but I doubt it will be. Imagine booking your car in early November and expected it back days before Christmas, a simple bumper, I would’ve ordered the parts myself and done it at home, point is, the repairer is disorganised, unreliable.

Run with your car if the insurance send you there. My car was returned in non running e condition after arguing about the gearbox. On the end my insurance take the car from this people and ride it off....I've driven the car there but was taken back on a tow truck due to electrical fault they done. STAY AWAY FROM THERE....the owner is a funny person,won't trust him
