Blue Mountains Pharmacy

I have been a customer at this pharmacy since it was Allan Byrnes, and up until the last 2 years it was my pharmacy of choice. In the last few months, myself and my daughter have experienced the worst service and attitude, particularly by the pharmacist in charge, Nadim. He seems to have a need to power trip. Also, the prices at this pharmacy are double what you would pay at other pharmacies. After 18 years, I'm not going back.

I am so tired of having issues with my prescriptions, not to mention the continued disgusting attitude of the pharmacist! Their customer service is appalling, not to mention the blatant disrespect they show towards customers and healthcare providers!

I get quite a few prescriptions filled here, usually the staff are lovely. Today I had the worst service" I have ever experienced anywhere.No "hi how are you?" All she said was the total price

I have found the Chemist's and staff cannot do enough for you. They always have a smile no matter how busy they are and there advise is great .

The pharmacy assistant here was so helpful today. It is New Year’s Eve-I needed an urgent prescription for painful tonsillitis. She advised and assisted me-giving me info on my best source of an available Dr. I took her advice, got a Dr’s appointment (online) and a prescription within 3 hours. Alternatives were dire-wait 8 hours+ at a local Public Hospital (on New Year’s Eve:( or wait 2-3 days when a Dr’s Practice would be open again. I’m working right through the holiday break so taking time out to be sick wasn’t an option. Five gold stars for this assistant and the pharmacy for providing practical and caring assistance.

This pharmacy is fantastic.With wide aisles and a spacious design, I think this pharmacy is one of the nicest I have been to.Looks aside, the store itself has a wide range of stock, with staff happy to help order items in if needed.I have been to this pharmacy quite a few times, for prescriptions and odds & ends, and have found each experience to be a pleasant one.The staff are very attentive and friendly, accommodating to my queries that I have had, and very professional in their service.The pharmacists are great with information, from medications to general health questions.They are very prompt with any issue that I have had (sometimes problems with scripts and such), and I really value the entirety of this pharmacy and all that work there.Very professional, kind and intelligent group of people that work there.Five stars from me.

Horrible service. I was amazed at how the pharmacist treats people. Rude, no care and not wanting to discuss patient concerns. Avoid if you wanting help.

didnt have such a great experience there the other day which shocked me as ive never experienced bad things here before. i went in to get my medication, as my script had been filled there previously i thought i didnt need to bring my script in/they had kept it on file. apparently they had not, thats fine, it happens. i say “oh, i thought it had three repeats or something left” and the pharmacist assistant said “it was actually five”. unsure how she knew that if they didnt have it… she then proceeded to be incredibly condescending towards me whilst i was trying to get medication that literally keeps me alive. very upsetting.

Have had recurring issues here with the pharmacist, including having to plead to be able to buy a ventolin inhaler (over the counter medication), and refusing to dispense my antidepressant medication a day early even though I had run out (this has never been an issue in 10 years of taking this med). Tried explaining I am a nurse and also an adult human who can manage their health but ended up having to grab my script out of pharmacists hand to get it back. When I called to feed back bad service the only person available to receive feedback was the pharmacist I had the issue with…. Oh well. I go to the Blackheath Pharmacy now and feel really looked after there, with better pricing :)

Absolute life savers! We were stuck in iso and running low on essential supplies. I happened to call just a few minutes after their midday delivery cut-off, but they could not have been more accommodating. They went above and beyond to help when more local pharmacies just shrugged us off. Great service.
