So glad to see yum cha is back at Granville Diggers as there was no Asian flavours in the suburb for a long time. Very yummy prawn dumplings and extremely affordable.

Went there on a Tuesday night for dinner and the trivia night. The club car park which has an entry off Clyde Street is fairly big so had no problems finding a spot. Poppies Brasserie does nice Chinese food as well as a selection of Roast of the day, Aussie and Italian meals. I had the Sweet and Sour Pork which was great. The trivia night was also a lot of fun with some lucky draw prizes as well as the usual ones. The hosts Rob and Donna, are friendly and ran the event very well. All in all a great fun night.

Had been recommended to go and eat dinner here by locals.Worst experience at Poppies bistroBurnt egg noodles ! For 18.80Tasteless chicken and vegetables egg noodlesAdvised the lady at counter for a discount. She refused.Know why the club is so bare.....awful food and miserable service waiting to order our meal and drinks at the bar.p

A kind of old-fashioned, not very clean and slow RSL club. The food service was awful and quality was lower than normal RSL clubs.

I went Monday with a group. There was a Yum Cha which looked excellent. A Chinese language menu on the wall I couldn't read. The coffee Cafe had a small menu. Staff were excellent.

Food terrible, only 2 trolleys come around offering only dumplings / dim simple. When you ask for any other food options they do not speak English at all. Service isn't that great either.

What a horrible experience that we were treated with no respect by the staff at the Chinese Yum Cha restaurant. The dim sum was 3 stars, seating was -1 star, service was -3 stars. It's disgraceful to have this kind of restaurant service in a Digger's club

Good food. Good service. Super value meal. We have a set menu dinner for 8 adults. Around $45 per head.
