I was so excited to try this bar as it’s across the road from my apartment. What a disappointment. The bartenders were the actual worst. The guy was living on another planet and seemed dazed and confused. The lady was just down right rude. I feel really bad giving a bad review but I hope the owner sees this and does something. It was a Saturday afternoon, lots of opportunity to serve customers but no one seemed interested in working at all. We helped clear our table, went to the bar and got our own drinks and everything was just lackluster.

Great food, great drinks and a great atmosphere. Had a range of the share plates with friends and we couldn't fault any of them, the arancini balls were incredible! We will definitely be back!

Nice gem in the Kirribilli hub. Drinks are well priced and delicious. For food they have a mix of small share plates and individual meals. Would highly recommend to friends and family. A nice little date spot as well!

Im not normally one to write reviews, but in this case I will go to the ends of the earth to tell people that the Schnitty and chips here is hands down one of the best I have had in my entire life. The bartender we had was great, he was attentive and charismatic. The wine was pretty damn good as well.We will be back and I would recommend this place any day of the week.

Off hand service; the bartender did not know how to make the drinks; he kept chewing gum with his mouth open?One couple asked for their bill because they were overcharged and then another couple said wow $88 for drinks - that’s expensive! So I asked for my itemised bill - bingo - there was an extra drink on the tab. So I’m wondering whether this is standard practice for Bamfords; good atmosphere and location & food Ok. A shame about the dodgy service

Staff are incompetent and hopeless. The food that did arrive was tasteful but with how hopeless the service has been it isn’t worth recommending.We had two couples at the table and I ordered some share plates for the girls and mentioned the boys will be ordering two burgers but to speak with them. Waiter walks off, unsure if he even took my drink or food order.I call someone else that appears to be the manager and the boys ordered two drinks and two burgers to which he said he’d be back to do the food and never came back. The girls food arrives is eaten and gone, I ask the first waiter to confirm the beef burgers have been ordered to which he confirms. Almost 50 minutes later still no food for the boys and I ask the waiter to check what’s happening with the kitchen to which he responds he’s sorry they were never put through. We had a show to attend so the boys left without a meal. With only so much as a “sorry about that” to be offered. Sorry doesn’t really cut it does it.Never in my life have I been to an establishment where you have to order a meal over three times to receive it and a place where the staff don’t check to see what is going on and if the patrons are okay. Additionally the drinks take so long to come out, you’re lucky if you receive the one you ordered and they are average at best.

Stopped in this little gem for a quick drink before popping over the bridge. Fantastic service and great wine! Didn't need a snack, but it all smelled and looked delicious. Maria, the bartender was superb. Definitely recommend.
