Portuguese for Gringos

Laura is an amazing tutor, with very clear coursework and an extremely positive attitude. I would recommend her to any gringos learning Portuguese.

I've been doing one on one lessons with Laura for a year now, initially face to face, but now via zoom. Laura is incredibly knowledgable and so passionate about Brazilian Portuguese. Our lessons are fun, always varied, and strike a really good balance between learning grammar and understanding useful everyday language.Our lessons are structured, but I love that Laura is very happy if we go off on tangents talking about other random topics, which always makes for a fun lesson.I've seen my own Portuguese go from absolutely zero to a point where we now conduct our lessons entirely in Portuguese. I honestly couldn't;t recommend Laura highly enough, she is an amazing and truly gifted teacher!

Laura is such a great teacher, she makes the lessons so fun and engaging. I have learnt so much and even met people through her social events including all her students. I would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in studying Portuguese, which everyone definitely should!!
