Prouds the Jewellers Woden

extremely disappointed..my husb and bought me as a surprise 50th wedding anniversary gift an 18 carot gold ring with ten diamonds from the Prouds store in Woden. The original price if the ring was 3999 dollars he paid in sale 2299 dollars. Unfortunately the ring us a bit big for my fingers and needs to be resized. The lady at the store told my husband he could have it resized by 2 sizes but failed to mention the care policy and the fact that he would have to pay to have the ring resized.. Inbthe past I have always bought my jewellary at Prouds Tuggeranong and have had no issues. Never again wil I and my family shop at any Prouds and have mentioned this to friends too who are appalled that a ring costing so much cannot be resized free if charge as it was the sales persons fault in tge first place.

Bought a really nice stainless steel neck chain for myself at a great price. Sales assistant was super helpful.

Very disappointing service from the lady with red hair (Kim or Ellen shown on card), had an item held the day prior as there was a 2 day sale happening, returned the next day to have one last try before in my head deciding to buy, the lady refused telling me I was welcome to look through the cabinet, giving me the Indication (Very sassy and sarcastic) she clearly thought I was going to steal the item. Very disrespectful, instead went across to Zamels & purchased a 47g solid gold bracelet.

Got my watch fix after 4 month wait 14 month ago, same problem again, asked for warranty on the 06/07/2020, went several time, got a message today the 19 Oct 2020 to say it will cost $240.3.5 month wait for a very, very poor result. So if I accept the quote, they will keep my watch for HOW LONG....sorry, not fair.Seiko watch, expensive but the quality is not great, as for their service, expensive and very slow. Cheaper watch has lasted me much longer without the problem.

Stood in shop, 3 employees , showed no interest, so left. Very disappointing during these times.Store next door was happy.

I went there to buy gold hoop earrings and the customer service rep couldn't find them and couldn't be bothered to ask other staff. Despite seeing me struggling on a walking stick, she just left me standing there, to the point I had to leave or collapse.
