If you’re looking for yummy sandwiches, good coffee and great vibes, this is the place to go. We ordered the Reuben, chicken melt sandwich and the meatball rolls, and they are absolutely delicious! You’ll noticed immediately why the locals support them as the staffs are really friendly.

Good concept.No alterations to menu items, as they premix ingredients, ie I wanted something removed from the chicken melt sandwich but had to have it in there.Overall, nice sandwich.My friend said the Bagel was the best she had had.Good friendly service. Wait times good.Outdoor seating.Certainly a constant stream of people.

A beautiful small deli sandwich style shop in Mentone.The staff are so friendly & care about the quality of food being served.We’ve tried the triple cheese & The Reuben sandwiches, we loved both.They serve amazing coffee too

I can definitely see how this can be a much loved suburban sandwich joint for the locals, but idk if worth the trip out to try.In terms of hospitality, second to none, so kind, I love that staff know the names of the all the regulars that come in, it’s a very wholesome community vibe.We got the chicken, spicy tuna and the Reuben to try. My favorite is probably the chicken, the Reuben was dry yet still a tad greasy, the tuna was very fishy and maybe it’s just me and I haven’t had a tuna sandwich, but it just didn’t work for me. The chicken was not bad, the cheese and chicken melted together well, the team at Applehead use simple square bread slices so nothing to rave about. I’d come again if I was a local because I’m not sure what else mentone has to offer, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it

Delicious sandwiches, living up to the many other reviews!Great customer service and coffee was decent.There is limited space, especially if the weather is poor - so good to keep that in mind.Spicy Tuna Melt - Excellent spice to it, and very filling. A lot of flavours that bring it to life. Must try!Chicken Melt - Filling chicken pieces, fairly standard flavours in a good way.Coffee - Nice blend and not too hot!Great spot for a sandwich outside of the CBD!

One of the best Reuben sandwiches I've ever had, will definitely be coming back to try the others.Coffee looks pretty good too. Didn't try it myself but saw plenty of locals coming in to get one while I was there.

Had the best, home made apple cake , lovely soy flat white and fresh lovely cheese bagel type roll. Right near Vinnies on Nepean Hwy, opp Bunnings/ Officeworks hell. Tucked around the corner . Gorgeous. Great service from interested staff.

Tuna melt was phenom and the meatball sandwich was good but didn't blow my mind. Could have some more cold drink options. Very cute spot, not heaps of seating but easy to take away.
