Grange Library

We love our local library. An easy walk or bike ride from our place. The kids love the playground and I love to wander through the beautiful community garden. I recently signed the kids (4,6,9) up for their own library card each with the help of the excellent staff. As a result they are really motivated to read at the moment and get a thrill out of putting books on hold.

Leafy location, attached park has lots of shade, a BBQ and tables n chairs. Toilets are in the library and may only be accessible during certain hours.Library has a shaded deck and a little coffee cart thing. Deck has tables and chairs, awesome place to work from home at!

Sign up was quick, easy and simple. The library staff were helpful and professional. The woman (I can't remember her name sadly) she was what true customer service is about. She was so informative with the sign up information and process. Warm and friendly. Definitely one of the factors why I would return.The location was easy to find. The library was clean, tidy and organised. Free WiFi a plus for those who require it. Printing facilities are convenient. Computer usage also a bonus for those in need.Seating area's were spread out across the library and comfortable.It's only a small peeve, but worth mentioning in case anyone requires a work space. The desk's for those bringing their own laptops/tablets to plug in were taken up by some people with only note pads and even just customers reading news papers which meant there were a few of us with laptops that had to resort to sitting on the couches and outdoor area (out of the air con) if a table was needed.Other than that, my experience was positive due to the welcoming staff member who completed my sign up. You are amazing at what you do!

Lovely library with very helpful staff, good selection of books and lots of new releases. Coffee shop and playground are an added bonus.

Great library to go with little kids! The library is small but good enough selection of books. The best part is that it has a playground right next with a small cafe. There were many mums with toddlers having a playdate. I'd love to come back.

This library is at the great location.. nice outdoor space for kids as well

Possibly the loudest library in the history of the world. People are allowed to talk at the top of their lungs, have continual conversations with people around them and kids continuously scream as though it’s a playground… don’t come here if you need peace and quiet.

Am impressed by the informative staff and easy to use system. The playground next door is great for the kids and if you go when it's open, there's a cute little take away coffee & snack outlet
