Warning - we spent almost $100 with this business and over two weeks later nothing has arrived! Black Dog wear are not responding to emails or answering the phone. We have also sent emails via their website just in case our emails are going into their junk folder. We are left feeling that this is a very dishonest business - or they have gone broke and there is some fraudulent activity going on! Whatever is the case we are providing this review as a public service so others don't have their hard earnd cash stolen as well!Response to Blackdog Wear below - Item finally turned up over a month after it was paid for! Multiple emails and phone calls were sent and made to which we did not receive a response or answer. It is a massive stretch to blame COVID19 for this poor customer service! One could be forgiven to jumping to a conclusion that statement (blaming COVID19) was a dishonest and convenient response.

Black Dog Wear Smart Leads are the best leads I've used.My dog is nearly 15 and his smart lead is still going strong.We recently replaced it so my two dogs could have the same type of lead (which means the buckles can click into each other).The smart lead makes tying the dog up so easy, as the adjustable buckle means you can shorten the lead and tie it around really thick things, like trees.The customer service I received from Jess was great. I called up as I wanted to change my pickup order to delivery. We did it over the phone and the order arrived the next morning.

After buying two different harnesses on their recommendation which both failed to help train our dog, our private dog training school suggested a different type of Black Dog harness which did work (shame the people who make the products couldn't be more helpful). When this harness needed to be replaced, drove all the way there as their website said they were open until 4pm only to find out that they are closed to the public. The lights were on but no one would answer the door or their phone. Incredibly frustrating. I'll try to source a different harness from somewhere else.

Great Brand and excellent products. I have the training collars and training halters in my kit, and have found them to be top quality and fairly priced. Customer service is great too. Highly recommended Black dog wear to all dog owners

Great quality dog equipment at reasonable prices, locally made in Melbourne! Excellent customer service - ordered a Sighthound collar on Friday afternoon, it was shipped the same day and arrived Monday lunch time even without having paid for express shipping! Definitely recommended.

Absolutely amazing service, staff are very pleasant and helpful. We love to buy Aussie owned and made products, especially when they are well made and of high quality. So far we've purchased a halter head harness and a tracking lead which we had custom made to the length we wanted. Keep up the great work guys!

The service is amazing, the staff are friendly, and I love being able to support a local business. Great products that I have been using for more than 5 years. Recently placed an order that AusPost lost in transit, and Black Dog Wear got back to me as soon as I got in touch, handled communication with AusPost. When the package couldn't be located, Black Dog express posted a replacement order.
