I have been training with Matt for nearly three years he is a highly professional and results driven but also empathetic trainer who is happy to adapt for injuries/illness as required. He will push you exactly as far as you need. Highly recommend!

As far as fitness and wellbeing goes Matty is the guy to make a difference. There is no better place in the world than down by bronte beach at 6am. Guaranteed! It’ll change everything about you.

Matt is passionate about what he does and pushes you.Amazing outdoor training at beautiful Bronte Beach with the option of indoor training if it rains, also great to have optional yoga on Thursdays!

After a little over a year training with Matt I am thrilled with the results - increased fitness level, weight loss and overall feeling so much healthier. Matt will push you to make sure you get the most out of every session. Varied timetable options (early morning, mid morning and evening) make it easy to fit in exercise around a busy life and Bronte Park is a spectacular location to spend a few hours a week.

Been training with Matt for 5 years now and couldn't recommend the group more. There is a great community feel to the group with a few long term participants like myself that make everyone welcome (even at 6am) and the mix of exercise keeps it interesting. More importantly it makes a difference, I knocked 2mins off my Half Marathon time within 6mths of training with Matt.

Really disappointed. Showed up to class a few mins late - they got me to fill out an online sign-up and health form before they said they would get me warmed up and commence exercise, then after I completed the form, turned me away. They should have 1. Made it clear that the form should be filled out online prior to class 2. Not lure me into filling out my information on the pretense that I would be able to participate in class, then ask me to come back another day. Not a great experience given I went through psyching myself up to try a new class, then had to deal with their admin requirements and then have them turn me away.

I have been training at Coogee Beach Evolution to Wellbeing for nearly four years. It is a great group of people, very social, led by a fantastic trainer, Jayne McPherson. There is a broad cross section of participants, all abilities and ages. It is very much a community. There are outdoor group training classses and 6am, or 7.15am if you like to sleep in.We use a variety of equipment....barbells; dumbells; kettlebells; powerbags and ropes. We also run, box , do yoga and do lots of sand based exercises...there is something for everyone. After having 6 knee operations and being one of the oldest in the group, I never thought I would be able to train this way, but can honestly say the muscles around my knee feel stronger than ever before. There are always safe exercise options if you have an injury or limitations.I love it!Thanks Jayne!

Matt is a brilliant trainer - tough but encouraging and supportive, and so passionate and committed to the group's fitness and wellbeing. And as for the location down at Bronte Beach, it's unbeatable.

I have been training at Evolution To Wellbeing (at Coogee Beach), for nearly five years. I love it! I spent years going to different gyms, but Evolution has been the only thing I have been able to maintain my commitment to. I think this is because you train with an amazing trainer (Jayne McPherson), and an incredible group of people, spanning all age groups / fitness levels. There is a fantastic sense of camaraderie and a real sense of community. It is outdoor group training. Each session is varied and works for all fitness levels. There are always alternative exercise options made available if dealing with niggling injuries.Equipment used on a regular rotating basis include barbells; dumbells; kettlebells; medicine ball; ropes and powerbags. There is also a twice weekly yoga option, long run options and boxing every Friday....it really is varied training!Whether you are super fit or just starting out with exercise, I highly recommend you come down to Coogee Beach to try out Evolution to Wellbeing. There are both 6am and 7.15am group classes, and a free trial is generally available.
