I was a bit disheartened by this place. As we are from Geelong, we waited months for these guys to open so we could come down and have a squiz at the dining tables. It’s not a short trip. I must say, it’s a beautiful shop and I did just want to take everything home. products sold are a 5 star rating. Customer service though just wasn’t there. Staff were polite enough but I just felt as though they had no interest. I asked a few questions about a few of the tables and was told to leave my mobile number so that it could be followed up but, I never received a phone call back and in the end I just thought we were better off buying our dining table else where. Such a shame because I had had every intention to purchase one of the dining tables but just never heard anything further regarding shipments, stock availability ect.

I visited Maison Living on Swan Street during a weekday, I was the only customer in the store. It was a lovely shop and I didn't think the pricing was that bad.I browsed the shop for 20+ minutes as I had time to kill in town and am looking for a new dining table and chairs.The disappointing part of my experience was the customer service.Three ladies were working in the shop and I was never once acknowledged, greeted or asked if they could help me.Further to this, they constantly complained about another staff member who they said they always had to check and review their work and even said that they should be sacked. I was appalled at hearing the conversation of these three woman, bitching about another member of staff. It wasn't like they were keeping their voices low either, they carried halfway across the store.I know that they knew I was there as I heard one say Is there any customers here" and other replied

Very friendly staff. COVID related supply chain issues have made this challenging for the Maison team, but they still kept me updated on delivery status of our furniture, even when there were further delays. So far one piece has arrived and it was perfect for the room. Delivery was seamless, and the team assembled and cleaned up afterwards.

Wow! I’m truly shocked by these reviews. I have always experienced exceptional service from Maison Living. I have only ever bought online but the communication I receive is 5 star. Nothing is too much trouble and Olivia has gone out of her way to always help me.

Looking at all the reviews and going there myself before the last lockdown, it really sums it up! You would be a fool to give your money to these people , they are simply arrogant and entitled humans . New staff need to give this place a new facelift. Otherwise there are better places to shop and the courtesy is free.
