Australia Post - Bulimba Post Shop

In all the years I've lived in Bulimba I avoid this post office like the plague. Long wait times, very rude service, incorrect information given, inability to process passport applications correctly and efficiently with them rejecting applications for invalid reasons. Take the passport to another post office they process it with ease. The only reason I ever go here and not Morningside is if I get a card to collect mail and when I do, the lines are long, staff are rude and they always struggle to locate the parcel...every-single-time!

Guys stopped by to drop a package, I saw their car and my front door was open & even waved at one another.Thinking they were dropping off my package, they left a card saying they attempted to make a delivery rather then handing me my package.Terrible service.

Great parking behind the shop. Most of the staff here are friendly besides this one lady who clearly shows disinterest in her work albeit the off peak hours of the day. Been picking up mail here for the past years since in the catchment area but would rather not pick it up when I see that lady working there.

My partner and I have been to Bulimba post office a couple of times as we just live down the road and both times my partner has had packages to collect, both times we have gone into the post office we’ve been served by a blonde headed lady by the name of jane on her name badge. First time we went she was snarky and not very nice to my partner which we had both thought maybe she was having a bad day which fair enough. However we had just went into the post office today and as we walked in she was there and laughing with her colleagues and other customers, as soon as she saw us her smile instantly wiped from her face and she spoke to us in a blunt manner, grabbed my partners phone for the code without any communication and acted like we were garbage. It’s made my partner and i think she’s quite racist as my partner is a black male and i’m a white female making us a biracial couple, what other reason is there to treat us in this disrespectful way when all we have done is been respectful and nice to her as a person.. keeping in mind as well my partner has been brought up in a very respectful way so even though she’s treating my partner like this he is still respectful and nice but i on the other hand am starting to lose my temper as i can tell she’s racially profiling and it’s making me upset as he said it’s just something his used to!! NOT OKAY! it’s 2022 and racism is still occurring which makes me absolutely disgusted.

Staff don't know the requirements for passport. Rejected renewal paperwork. I called Passport office direct and they advised that what I was told was incorrect and they should have accepted documents I provided. Huge loss of my time, stress and almost cost me more time and money if I had done what staff told me I had to do. Very disappointing ..... Now I have to go through the whole process again - more wasted time :(

Rude staff with poor communication skills. When I told the lady behind the counter I needed ship back a package to a vendor, she assumed I didn’t have the shipping label(which I already had) and wanted me to go home and come back. They are lazy, rude, and aren’t helpful at all. If the staff is miserable doing a cashier job, then maybe they should find a job where they are not facing customers.

More staff needed on Saturdays. Always mobbed. Normal operating hours need to return ASAP, COVID is no longer an excuse.

Incredibly helpful staff, have gone above and beyond so many times, we moved here from overseas, and Jane especially has been particularly helpful. Thank you ladies for you great work.

I DETEST walking into this shop!! Usually have to wait in a long line, it is under staffed and there is always an excuse as to why you cannot do/get what you need to. The computers are down... you don't have this

We avoid this post office like the plague. People here (one lady in particular, stands on the left side as you walk in the door) have forgotten what looking after customers mean. I got chastised on the last visit for using the EFTPOS machine 'incorrectly', and my partner got the 'higher charge' treatment' (your parcel won't fit into the cardboard slot
