Marino Rocks Social - a Community Cafe
2 ladies behind counter talking. No greeting as we walked in. Tables in 1st room covered in crumbs. 2nd room tables full of crumbs. We cleaned our table with sanitised whipes. With covid and flu rife this must be addressed. Another patron came in and cleaned the table with his cap. The coffee was very nice but could have been a tad hotter. I shall return in a few weeks to see if things have improved as this Cafe has potential

Marino Rocks Social - a Community Cafe
We had dinner here one evening last year and enjoyed the sunset with the restaurant all to ourselves. Parking is available though we walked. Magical spot to eat whilst watching the sunset.Not a big selection of meals to choose from.Today we called in for a take away smoothie during our walk.Friendly guy who served us both times.Very spacious restaurant with downstairs and upstairs dining.

Cakes and coffee with a view!Marino Rocks Social is located just up from the beach, and has plenty of nearby parking. They serve delicious cakes, coffee and meals. Today’s visit was all about the caramilk cronut! The food and cake selection gets better and better, and the service is fast and friendly.

Delightful local Cafe, run by welcoming volunteers. Great coffee and cake. Beautiful views on a fine day. Update.... tasty lunch, pastry and a glass of wine. Chilled out on the top deck. Check their FB page as opening times and sudden menu changes can catch you out

Very nice cafe in a great location.A must visit if you are in the area, with great views. The pastries were all great and there was a large variety.The ham & cheese croissant was fresh and I enjoyed the addition of pickles. It was pretty busy when we visited and the staff were under pressure but they were friendly.Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Marino Rocks Social - a Community Cafe
Went here on word from family it was good. It was ok. Seated in the room downstairs which is nice, but, I think on a summer's day it would be unbearable to sit. Gets very warm, very quick. Decor is old school. Food was ok. My child's nuggets were literally over cooked to the point the inside of the nugget was non existent. A bit on the pricey side. I guess you pay for the stunning views. Staff weren't overly attentive. We ordered take away coffees as we left & they took for ever. No other people were getting coffees made. I don't know if I'd go back for a meal. I'd probably go again to get a coffee with a view. That's if it's still operating by the time I go back.

Great food and you couldn't find a better location than up on the hill overlooking the water!Small menu is a nice change and everything we had was amazing. Toasted sandwiches were 10/10 and great vegetarian options. Range of sweet pastries were delicious, and the pies looked lovely and home made, shame I was too full to try one! Will be back to try them all soon.

What a lovely place & view. Newly taken over now run by community members. Lovely leisurely lunch for my 60th with my friend. Was welcomed by Paul who was very pleasant & friendly & funny, all the staff who served us were just lovely too. I had the Seafood Chowder absolutely delicious & the Chocolate Sphere was amazing. Will certainly be back, maybe try the breakfast next time. Thank you & well done on taking over from previous owners.

Had my 50th birthday at the cafe. They done a sit down meal for 48 people and done a fantastic job. The food was great and really good portions. The staff we very friendly and helpful. The views are superb from the balcony.
