I love this university! They are always so kind, reply to your emails within 2 days max - very often sooner, and they make awesome meat and salad rolls. I feel fortunate to be able to study on campus.

A great uni, I went for film/tv/radio. Had many opportunities, helped me get work, many resources to use, the lecturers are amazing and kind and a very I'm standing uni. There is also on campus living for those who live further away.

Such a bad experience with some courses. Some of the course examiners seem to be proud that their students don't do well. It is as though they wear it as a badge of honor. In reality, the course is only difficult becuase they structure it so poorly. They place tiny pieces of information in many many many different places so you end up having to watch a 2 hour video to get 5 minutes of useful information; read 50 pages in a workshop / weekly activity; and also read the study book/text book. Then you have the priviledge of trying to piece it all together while hoping that the picture you are creating in your mind is the correct one. This is because they don't provide a connection between the several places that the information is kept.Reaching out for help results in just watch/read the video/notes". If you dare try to say that they are not helpful they make you feel like you are the problem.Definitely do not consider USQ for an IT degree (or any degree really). You will be better off watching YouTube videos. You would get a better understanding in less time and it would be relevant in the real world."

Left a review a few years ago about my experience. It never improved and only got worse. Lecturers don't care, student support throws you in circles, no good selection of food on campus and pretty much zero feeling of student community. I am really disappointed with myself for choosing this university and to spend 6 years of time and money studying here for lecturers who simply don't care for you and woeful IT systems. DO NOT STUDY HERE

Disappointed with the direction the university has taken over recent years. Studied two degrees over 6 years and it's lost its friendly people focused approach. I wish it was like it used to be. Now it feels very commercially focused to the detriment of students. Staff attitudes have changed due to this as well. The balance between commerical operation vs smaller country style university has tipped too much for me now.

Not a very big campus, quite clean and well organised, but somwhow looks like a big car park to me.

I would recommend that you study elsewhere and avoid Tafe. We've had three teachers in six months and another one on the way. This affecting our course content delivery and considering I had to take out a loan to pay for this course I'm not seeing value for money.

Our daughter is attending there. It's a small but easy to maneuver around campus. I think she will enjoy it there.

Really nice country University. Peaceful and conducive for studies. Helpful and understanding staff. No problem, getting a parking space. Just a few minutes away to the Orion shopping centre and library.
