Chen Yuen Chinese Restaurant
My old time favourite restaurant. Been going to this restaurant since I was five years old and I’m now 56 years old. Of course two lots of people have owned this restaurant and the second lot are just as good but I do miss the original owners faces.Food is great and whenever I visit it takes me back to my childhood memories sitting there with mum and dad and having my old time favourite of chicken omelette. How our tastes change.Not an overdone restaurant in decor but service is fabulous.

1st time here. Food was nice but small dishes for the chow mein and seafood claypot(only half full). Crispy chicken was a good plate size.

Have been coming here for a long time. Current operator works hard to provide good dishes with quality ingredients. Setting isn't fancy but it is welcoming and when you leave you are happy you went. A great place for an old style Chinese restaurant meal.

Excellent service and nothing was too much trouble. The food was served promptly and was really nice. Chef was able to create our requested dish even though it was not part of the menu. I would definitely recommend this cute little restaurant.

A fantastic little family run Chinese restaurant. Our local and one of the better in the area. Their fried rice is my favourite around and they do a great value lunch box (various meat options). You couldn't go wrong paying them a visit and getting yourself some take away or dining in.

Love this place - simple, delicious, consistent food. Best lemon chicken I've found anywhere! Our favourites are all the Western predictables - sweet and sour pork, fried rice, mongolian beef, and chinese broccoli with garlic (off menu, on request). Always willing to drive 15 mins for Chen Yuen takeaway.

Friends and I have been coming here for many years & the food is always excellent, reasonably priced & the service excellent. Non pretentious setting, nice & relaxed. Again the food is so yummy. Must try.

Chen Yuen has been our family favourite in the area for over 30 years. Special Fried Rice, Singapore Noodles, Beef & Cashews, Lemon Chicken, Steamed Dim Sims, BBQ Pork and Mongolian Beef are our favourites. No frills but nice consistent food

It's a few years since we've visited this restaurant last time and it was very good.This time, the food seemed like your average takeaway place and the lady who served us seemed to be rushing us through the meal.Ok food, not too expensive but service needs to be improved.

I really enjoy their food, it's lovely and fresh, but even better is the lovely manner of the staff.we've been going for very many years, and have had an excellent food and a good experience every time.
