Villawood Immigration Detention Centre

I am making a review of trying to contact them I have been on hold now for an hour and no response and they close in 25 mins and don't open again until 12 pm tomorrow I have been trying to get hold of them for weeks first I thought the number I had was wrong because everytime I rang it sent me to a voice message telling me to enter ext number then today number finally worked after second attempt and then been on hold for an hour should offer a call back service

I was there for 35 years and people came here and harrased me. Dont go there

Better than other detention places. It Still needs to improve and should have proper education system for kids and mental health.

My family and I stayed here for about a year from 1986, following our escape from a communist dictatorship.While the place wasn't THAT bad, it was certainly a step down for us as we led fairly decent middle-class lives, albeit under an iron thumb.Having said that, the sense of community back then was excellent and as a kid, I did have heaps of fun there, especially during the weekends when the kids playroom would show child friendly movies such as The Terminatror and Robocop.The not-so-fun parts were the extremely cramped rooms, and the downstairs neighbours that insisted on doing #1's on their front door step. The smell was wonderful during summer.Overall it was a bit of a craphole but the road to freedom isn't always lined with velvet.

Free Habib Rahman!! He doesn’t deserve to be still locked inside.

Free Habibur Rahman . He has been locked up for 2 years even though he has signed all the paperwork to go back to go to his country. Keeping him locked up this long is injustice.

Very horrible and harsh with humans they treat like animals no respect need more facilities
