Our company only installs Omega ducted heaters and evaporative cooler products. We have also been utilising their roof vents for all of our ventilation works and more recently using their drainage pits for our below ground works. Friendly team and great to deal with!

Had Tameka service our unit. She looked at the u it and within a second told us it needed a new smart board. I told her I was surprised as I thought it was just the thermostat as it was fading in and out. She did not know how to remove the thermostat and I had to work out how to do it. She tested the heating system by connecting the wires from the thermostat and told me it wasn’t the smart board after all and it was just the thermostat. I told her it might just be the batteries she then couldn’t work out where the batteries went and put them in positive to positive. I told her she might have them in the wrong way but she insisted that it was correct and then told me I needed a new thermostat. I paid over $350 and a week later the unit stopped working. I spoke to Gene the service manager who I found to be totally unprofessional, rude and he told me an outright lie. Firstly he got Tameka and I in a 3 way conversation which I felt very uncomfortable complaining about her service directly to her and basically telling her she had no idea what she was doing. Gene then told me I needed a new smart board and I asked how he knew without having looked at my unit, he said he just knew. He told me he would get another technician to come out to replace the smart board and would not charge me the $190 call out fee. When the technician arrived he told me I would have to pay the call our fee as Gene said that. Rang company and asked to speak to the manager of Gene, Gene then called me back and told me he was the boss of everything. So unprofessional, total rip off. Beware beware beware!!!

I have had an Omega gas ducted heating system in the house for the last 18 years. It had always performed well up until about a year ago.Initially I rang a plumber that was referred to me by a local firm that handled the Omega heaters, but all he could recommend was purchasing a new furnace (through him of course). A few weeks back, I booked a service call (with Omega) to have the unit serviced by one of their technicians. John, the service technician performed above and beyond". He was on time. He serviced the unit and the whole process was seamless. I saved on having to purchase a new furnace

Wish I could give them negative star rating. Rang them up about a faulty unit which is supposedly still under warranty. Rang them up and they told me we could only cover our warranties if the unit is regularly serviced by them directly(which is expensive as buying a new unit) not from any third party. I rang around the other companies(well reputed ones) deals with the heating systems and guess what no good company want to come out and repair the omega product. (Try for your selves before you buy). Hope this help from someone else getting ripped off.

Today on the 03/02/2022 I have Michael technician from Omega company come in to fix my heater that wasn't working since last winter.First of all he was checking and then he told me that was the fan blower problem that mean i need to get a new replacement unit and he has new part ready in his Van and give me a fair of price very politely.Then he had replaced a new unit for me and test it and working so well with a very good experiences of his work, Best guy!!!Finally, i'd like to give him 5stars of his work today and thanks to Omega@Flora McCall that has sent him to do this work for me today *****

I would like to thank Gene for his polite and excellent technical advice. Gene answered all my phone calls and helped diagnose problems with my 18 year old Omega HE120 ducted gas heater which had a pressure switch fault caused by a faulty combustion fan. I ended up replacing unit.

My ducted heating unit died on 31 may, I rang Omega in the morning of June 1st 2022.They organised a new unit to be installed on the same day.The two men worked quickly and left the area clean.Fantastic service thank you. I definitely recommend Omega

I spoke to Gene from Omega today, in regards to some advice about their current ducted heater units. I have had an Omega heating unit in the past, and I could not fault how quickly my home warmed up with that heater. Gene was very courteous and friendly to speak with, very helpful and I appreciated his kindness very much in offering his advice and trying to assist me. Thank you

Omega heaters are very under rated. These systems are tried and true. I have installed all brands of heaters, and the ones that fail the least are omega. When they do fail,which is rare and usually due to a power surge damaging the circuit board. Gene (owner or manager?) Is always available to speak to directly. He knows the heaters inside and out and can diagnose the issue on the spot. You will never get customer service like this from any other brand. Dreamtek Electrical Heating Cooling

After 20 years, the system started to play up.Called up Omega and spoke to a person who was willing to diagnose it over the phone at no cost - turns out it was the owner himself Gene. Ended up needing a powerboard replacement and now all good - thanks to Mike for the friendly service today.If you search, every product will have it's issues... Based on my experience, I strongly recommend Omega products/services.DC (Melbourne).
