RAAF Amberley

Today I visited RAAF AMBERLY with my school. The HOSPITALITY and kindness of the staff was awesome. It's sad seeing the old F111 I the hanger and the F111 at the gate but I hope 1 day we can get an aircraft that can dump and burn just like it. The food is the best you can get but the history and live that the family of RAAF AMBERLY put into looking after all New and old planes that protected Australia for many years. One day I want to go back and get to fly the Sims there but to be able to see an F111 close up is AMAZING.i could not asked for a better present before my birthday on the 26th of the month. Thank you so much AMBERLY. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

RAAF BASE Amberley domestic terminals customer service is poor beyond belief. The baggage handlers make you load your bag on and off the aircraft. There was no on flight food and if it was it was a thanks for the one biscuit.I give a 1 star there is room for improvement

well its a raaf base when I went with cadets I got to go on a kc30. food was really good. its a bit of a tourist attraction. when I went we stayed in 681 and the place needs refurbishing immediately there were spiders coming out of my wall. but overall it was a once in a lifetime experience and I was able to shoot my first 22 calibre rifle. great experience really recommend going to see the museum. outstanding experienced would do it again.

When ever I pass the RAAF base it is music to my ears. Also reminds me of Williamstown where I spent many a school holidays.Came back out to service another customers car at the base today, disappointed there were nil aircraft, it just feels right when we're at RAAF Base Amberley.

surely visit someday as airforce was my first passion.just saw 2 planes fly past over our house in coomera going from east to west.

Normally all the noise and flights are usually done but 8pm - 830pm, but after 9 is ridiculous come on we have to work the next day. Please have some respect for our residents in your community and surrounding areas. May 5th 2021
