2020 Movement Nation offers a fun, supportive and collaborative environment for dancers with all skill levels - from beginners to advanced. There are great selections of dance styles and knowledgeable teachers who are always happy to guide and help you, no matter where you are in your dance journey. For anyone who'd like to give dancing a go or develop themselves further as a dancer, definitely check out this place!

Thank you Jeff and all Movement Nation instructors for making this place become a great community for people who love dancing and want to learn dancing from the very basic steps. Can't say how much I really enjoy every single class I attended. I have been looking forward to finishing my work and joining the Friday night class with Jeff who has such a great ball of energy igniting other passion and makes people feel connected and inclusive. I'm truly grateful for this amazing community in Hurstville :)

The dance teachers and staff are so friendly and supportive, continuously fostering a fun and safe space for people to learn and explore dance. Classes cater to people at all levels, ranging from beginner, intermediate to more advanced which makes it easy to find a session that works best for you. Each teacher brings their own unique style, however, all place a strong emphasis on mastering foundational techniques. This means you are not simply just learning choreography at each session but rather developing skills that can be utilised in an array of different dance styles. The energy at this studio is absolutely incredible and I could not recommend it enough!

I like basketball…..dance also. You can’t do basketball at this dance studio. But you can dance. So 5 stars. ( In all seriousness, this is a really great studio, it’s clear that the teachers enjoy and have a passion for dance. As for the owner ( Jeffery Hu ) he has really created something special and takes care of it and everyone in it. The environment is amazing for all ages and all skill levels. Would recommend to everyone and anyone, dancer or not. )

I started dancing with this studio since February and I can say I’ve loved every class I’ve taken with them. The teachers are so motivating and they offer you a safe space to just feel yourself. In terms of classes offered they have various levels and styles from heels, hiphop to kpop!What’s great is that every instructor also encourages students to try out other classes which is just a testament of how they really want every person who steps in the studio to grow and be better at dance. If you’re someone who wants to try out dancing, wants to come back to dancing or simply want to try something different Movement Nation is the place to be.

2021 MN studio provides a safe & nurturing environment.They offer classes like Hip-Hop, Choreography, Girls Style and etc. MN runs classes from beginner friendly to open level. Also, classes specifically catered towards children for certain age groups, school students or a Family Sunday.Teachers are very professional, super encouraging and are passionate in their teaching. They are always seeking new ways to enhance class experiences. It is never too late to dance, as long as you have the can-do attitude or simply just looking to pick up a new hobby. You should definitely come through!

One word that sums up this small but powerful dance studio would be: community. The emphasis is on learning and growing at your own pace no matter where you are in your dance journey, and is SUPER beginner-friendly, with many friendships being formed here. So if you've never danced before it's the perfect place to begin, but all the teachers are so incredibly talented that some of the best dancers in Sydney will feel at home here too. This dance studio and the team will always make you feel welcome!
