I’ve been to golden several times and I think the food is decent especially the set menu deals. One thing you will not like is their customer service, it’s sh#t. This place is jam packed because everyone is going for lobster special so make sure you book a week in advance. If you went during their promotion period, they were offering free lobster dish with a minimum spend of $120, $240 you get two plates of lobster and so on. Lobster is served in traditional ginger & shallot style, and does not include noodles. Other nice dishes include salty egg fried eggplant, pipi soup it’s veggies, sticky fried rice. Customer service: staff members aren’t friendly and often quite rude. Although food is served quite fast, they also want you out the door quickly so they can serve the next customer. Tables are tiny and can barely fit all the plates, especially if you order big dishes like lobster, steamed fish takes up 50% of the table already. On my last visit we asked for two take away boxes and then decided to take one only and the charged us for two! We also didn’t get any tong sui (dessert), and didn’t get our change back they just assume we were paying tips! Please make sure you check the bill before you pay.Review 24 June 23:The service has improved tremendously. Between ordering our dishes to serving to about 10 minutes. The free lobster promotion still stands with a minimum order of $143, which increased $20+ since last two years.

No frill yum cha restaurant. Delicious food, better than most yum cha restaurants I have visited. Service was fine, staffs were generally friendly and polite. Everyone speaks Cantonese, feel like you’re home.We ordered a table full of dim sum and were stuffed walking out, was only cost us just over $20 per head, cheap and affordable.

Came here for a Yum Cha with a group of 8. Took a while to get seated as this place is very busy. However, the seating has decent spacing. Once seated, the food on the trolleys came relatively quickly, which was nice. The trolleys also came frequently which was convenient and didn't keep us hungry. All dishes were quite good. On the other hand, service wasn't the greatest with some waiters being impolite. Also, some dishes that didn't come on the trolleys which we had to order took a very long time.

The food was pretty decent. Afterwards I was really thirsty. Prices are pretty decent not overpriced. The lobster and crab was 169 the rest of the dishes were around the mid $20-mid $30. I loved the yum Cha more than the dinner meal but that's my opinion. I ordered 8 dishes each meal was massive for 7 people. They gave fruits and sweet soup as dessert.

We came here a couple of times during the weekdays for a quick yumcha craving fix.Service table was fast, as soon as we sat down the carts would come rolling to us to make sure we have food on our table. The food here are average. The chicken feet can be better, as it is not very consistent with their quality. However, I don’t mind going here for a quick yumcha craving fix locally.

Real gem in Campsie. Got in quickly without having to wait. The food is overall good and similar to what you get in other yumcha places in the city for a slightly cheaper price. Love the mango pancakes.

Really enjoyed the food, we had an amazing fish cooked 3 ways, lobster noodle, fried glutinous rice, abalone and oyster and vegetable dish. Will visit again soon!

Went for dinner to catch up with ex-colleagues. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Prices were reasonable. I really liked the egg-yolk fried tofu. The wasabi beef and squid ink creamy rice were a hit with everyone. The lobster noodle was not a flavourful as other restaurants I have tried. But overall it was a good feed.
