Frankland Islands & Reef Cruise Jetty

Brilliant day out! This is the best reef tour I have been on as the coral in still in great condition here, unlike many other places. The crew were fantastic and really helpful, especially Captain Crabby and “Aquaman”. The guides were very knowledgeable showing us exactly where to find clown fish while snorkelling off the beach. The boat ride was smooth and didn’t take too long, and lunch was fresh and delicious! The best bit is that it isn’t crowded as this is the only boat that goes to this island.

Frankland islands and the staff were both great - Mario and Mark were full of knowledge about the local Flora and Fauna. We had a great time snorkelling, seeing multiple sea turtles, octopus, sting rays, and tons of colourful fish. Lunch was great, but the morning/afternoon tea were a bit lacking, so I would recommend bringing a piece of fruit.

So much fun. Very professional. Well staffed and organized. Nice boat ride. Loved snorkeling. Spot had a lot to see. Beautiful beach. My husband got naseous from waves so opted for sub (extra) instead of safari (extra). Extras weren't that much. Buffet lunch was very good. Having a photographer was great. Pics expensive and she had trouble centering shots, but thankful to have them. Worth the splurge. Snack on return was ok.

Awesome experience and friendly staff and crew. The island is very beautiful and secluded with no interruptions. We did the snorkel safari and saw a lot of fish, big turtle and white tip shark. The food was lovely. The boat ride to and from the island wasn't too bumpy. Will highly recommend this experience to everyone.

This place was amazing. We went there to do some scuba diving. The entire trip was great, the boat is good, the staff is friendly and the island is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. Staff was always around if you had some questions and they knew a lot about the island and the habitat. Definitly would recommend this trip! (lunch was also nice!)

One of the best tours I've been on in a long time. The Franklin islands is a must see of you want to experience the Great Barrier Reef up close and personal. Amazing, friendly and informative staff. Cold buffet was amazing and drinks reasonable priced. Have to mention our bus did break down but was rectified with more buses in 30 od minutes. Croc spotting was fun to add. Well done crew. Had a great day with this cruise! I did think the activities would be a bit more epic but I did enjoy the snorkel safari as the guide spots things to look at. The day also did feel a bit rushed, especially with the way the staff approached the day but I also liked that they had a whole agenda of things to do. The lunch was also very tasty! Would recommend if you’re looking for a more chill non intense snorkel day.

Fabulous Island visit. Boat a bit crowded with seating limited up the top consequently not easy to relax & enjoy the river views.The Frankland Island group not far from mainland which meant we had a decent time on the Island for snorkelling, swimming & walking around the beautiful Island.Lots of paying for 'extras' with no free drink at lunch time except water. Enjoyable day.

This was the most amazing experience me and my family have ever experience in Cairns!!!Friendly and very welcoming staff, they were looking after everyone’s safety and making sure we had everything we needed.Worth the price you pay for the all the activities.Highly recommended!

We join 22/02/2022 tour. The whole crew atmosphere is friendly and helpful. Frankland island is beautiful, too. But time is rush, doesn’t feel chill and relax. We arrived the island maybe 09:45, then the team need time to tell you what you need to know. 10:00 star your trip 11:00 snorkeling time (transportation small boat) 12:00 lunch time 13:00 Island Walk (nearly one hour..if I knew, l’ll take time to play water or take more pictures) 14:00 departure....actually you only have 4 hours on the island ( Also deduct lunch and island walks...) I think it's more appropriate to leave after at least 3 Pm. After all we paid for the tour to get close to the Great Barrier Reef.But Frankland island is good, they offer Stand-up paddles and canoes are also great fun. Lunch is good . Just wanna more time to stay and enjoy.
