DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH.The pub has been in the last 2 weeks taken over by 2 young entrepreneurs who are changing things for the good from what I've seen.I ordered a chicken parmigiana with fries and veggies and it was exquisite.The vegies were par boiled to el dente and tossed in a herb butter.The chicken was hand crumbed in panko, cooked to perfection, topped with sauce , ham and cheese. The crunch of the panko stayed crunchy all through the meal.BEST THING... Was the chef placed the fries to the side so they too stayed crunchy instead of this new way of putting the fries underneath, making them soggyAll the best guys , I'm sure you'll make a success of it.Hope to come back in winter when you have the 4 fireplaces roaring.

I was staying in a motel close by and went in this pub a few times , one night ordered a chicken Parma and was blown away , it was huge , delicious and value for money : 2 nights later I ordered the beef burger, I wasn’t told it was a miniature burger served in a bowl ( like a kids meal ) why would a man 6ft tall , over 100 kgs order a kids meal ? Yes I told what looked like the manager on duty about this , I don’t think he understood me , you need to be consistent with what you are serving

A little surprise package. Chef was friendly and can cook! Awesome parmas and steaks. Great atmosphere. Traditional feel pub with a great area out the back that would be great in the warmer weather with a live band. Keep being you guys and don't become uppity

Very rude service. Came in on a Tuesday night after having been told by the manager on the phone about the deals on. Girl that served us was extremely rude, spoke to us like idiots when we asked about the deals and later came back from talking to the manager saying we were right. Great venue but shocking service.

hands down the coolest pub in bendigo. pool tables and dart boards, delicious meals and just a fun vibe for any occasion. lovely service and meals came out very quickly, the area is always clean and the bartenders/waiters are always smiling. very friendly and positive environment

A very welcoming place from the moment we arrived. The service was fantastic, the meals were delicious and huge servings, and, with an open fire, the ambience was superb.
