Paul's Antique Clock & Watch Repairs

OMG DO NOT deal with this person. Rude and unintelligent, this so called repairer overcharged for a simple watch fix and became abusive and threatening when I enquired about the excessive charges. Use at your own risk!!!

I went to Paul initially to repair the hands of my wrist watch. I had no issues with Paul or his work. Just appeared to be a quietly spoken gentleman who charged good prices. I thought i had found a good repair person. So i was very disappointed when i returned a few months later with the same watch but a different issue. When Paul took a look he said i must have attempted the work myself as the wrong o ring seal had been used. I was very surprised Adam i had never attempted to do any work on the watch and in fact it was his workmanship that he was commenting on. When i said that he had done the work previously he patently did not believe me and said i must have been somewhere else as he would never do that. I was saddened that this happened and have not been back .

Paul is utterly amazing, he is a man of few words but very humble, very honest, and my watch has not missed beat since he repaired it. If you have an expensive watch don't entrust it to anyone else but this man, he will give you an honest evaluation about whether he can help or not and he charges a pittance compared to the other thieves in the business.

Chasing a watch minute hand to install myself as I am wary of who handles it, I was greeted with a lovely don't come then".Thank you for the help.Understand that a minute hand worth $3 could have led to me happily paying up to $50 for the part. It may also have led to servicing

Paul is a quiet, shy, polite man. He did the job promised for 1/3 the cost of his competitors. I have been going there for years and have always found him excellent. I wonder if the negative reviews are from competitors.

Had a great experience several years ago but when I went back recently I learned that Paul had retired and his business closed. Happy retirement, Paul! All the best!

Had a sentimental ladies retro citizen watch that I took to Paul after 4 other repairers told me they couldn't do anything for me. It's working again and will be worn again !Paul is reasonable and will be upfront about whether the piece is worth fixing. Have been going to him for a few years now. Highly recommend, have also had a Bulava serviced along with many battery replacements in many different watches, which he charges very reasonably for ..Great workmanship. Fantastic.

Very very rude and overpriced with the added dodgy work with the repair of my 1982 Omega seamaster, Do not go to this place if you want your wach repaired.

I take my Tag here for battery replacement and recently had my cal 351 1950 Omega repaired here. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
