I was holidaying in QLD and needed to book a wax, I saw some of the reviews saying the staff were not overly polite but I didn’t care too much as it was a one-off visit for me. When I arrived for my appointment the lady was out on her lunch break so I waited outside (not a big deal). No “hello” or “be with you in a moment” - again this didn’t bother me too much as I knew I wouldn’t be coming back but worth noting if you are a regular customer.I have been waxing for many years and can easily say this was hands down the worst wax I’ve ever experienced. It was extremely painful, and when I told the lady the wax was too hot she told me I must be too sensitive and then proceeded to lay the wax down and THEN blow on my bikini area??? Extremely odd. I returned home with multiple missed hairs and also extremely red and swollen.I called to speak with someone a few days later as the swelling had still not gone down and the lady on the phone was very kind and I don’t want to blame her at all because it wasn’t her fault but I was just so displeased with the wax and the best they could do was offer a voucher for next time - like I said I am not from QLD so what would I do with a voucher? Really dissatisfied with this service and would not recommend.

I went to Brazilian hut for the first time yesterday to get my legs waxed & it was terrible. Let my hair grow for over 2 weeks, exfoliated beforehand and everything.I walked in and was greeted by a young girl, she barely spoke and seemed very amateur. I laid down and she didn't say a word the whole time. Understandable to concentrate but its important to at least greet your customers and make them feel welcomed for a nice experience. I was in there for probably 10 minutes and paid for it and left because there was someone in after me and I was in a rush. When I got in the car I had a proper look at the job and it was worse than a shaving job. So many hairs left full length, i had strips of wax left on my leg that my mum pointed out to me, parts she missed, it was horrible, I stuck to my car the whole way home and had to thoroughly wash off the wax and my legs were so spikey with such an uneven job I couldn't stop crying with how upsetting it was. I could feel her touching my leg and looking at it as if something was wrong but she never said anything. Could have been courteous enough to mention it didn't work before making me pay? Its not the experience you expect to get when waxing. Plus there is no car parks available anywhere, took 20 mins to find one. Cheap price but not coming back.

I have never experienced such bad customer service, treated like complete garbage for arriving 5 minutes late. I already felt bad about it and the staff member was so rude and argumentative, I felt afraid to have her wax me and certainly did not want to give them my business.A few times I have sat waiting for them (which she denied) once for nearly 20 min so get off your high horse mate!I have been going to bh on and off for years, and often felt it was a bit of a production line (which can be good with intimate waxing) but can also seem as though they take clients for granted.I am now hesitant to return (especially after writing a bad review haha).Some staff have been great over the years but I will probably go elsewhere now!

I booked a service I arrived before my booking time, turns out I booked the wrong day and they were closed.Called the number on the website she was very helpful and nice, I explained I'd only be in Brisbane for the next two days so couldn't make the date the booking was actually made, she said she would ring around to see if anyone was available and give me a call back or cancel the booking.The day of the appointment arrives unbeknownst to be the booking is not cancelled and 2 hours before my appointment I recieve a txt message to confirm my booking. I call straight away and explain the situation the lady was extremely rude and basically called me a liar, I provided the number of the lady who called as proof she said she would look into it and call me back, also received no call back from her either. They would not return my deposit.
