I’m a 57 year old registered nurse and this practice has been the family’s vet practice from when it was located in Keppel street I’d estimate some 39 years service for my family. As you can see we have 2 dogs and 2 cats and over the years we have had many different pets and such dealings with Stewart street practice and we have always been impressed by all the wonderful staff of which I can recommend each and every one of them and commend them on their professionalism and kind hearted genuine care for our animals. I live on acres and we have had 3 dogs successfully treated for 7 snake bites so can’t speak highly enough of this amazing team. I can also recommend Bow Wow Meow pet insurance we got after the third snake bite. Rich Williams

Wonderful and compassionate vets and staff for sure. Recently my 15.5 year old cat Milo passed on and had been treated with utmost care about his chronic kidney failure as old age took over.Dr Sigrid was with us every step of the way and when the day came Milo had to say goodbye she was so gentle and caring in her mannerisms that the entire fateful moment was surrounded by peace and gentle closure that helped me be able to bear his loss.This vet establishment is wonderful, they work with you and explain everything offering their treatment and care with utmost respect and dignity for your animal companion, always wanting quality of care for you both that's accessible and achievable.I am more than happy to bring all my furry tykes here.Thank you so much for everything. <3

I want to give a massive personal thank you to Stephine at the clinic for the compassion, kindness and overall understanding and sensitivity she showed me and my wife during the PTS appointing of our sweet Rodent friend, Nobody has ever shown that level of care before, and to get a condolence card a few weeks later shows me that she the level of professionalism that she carries, she is an absolute asset to this business and whilst that was our final dear rat, I am confident in the future that If I ever get Rats again, I know they'll be well looked after by Stephine and the team.

Anne-Marie is an exceptional vet. She is very compassionate and understanding. Alex is also very kind and empathetic. I won't be able to thank both of them enough, and the rest of the lovely people that work there, for how kind they have been to both myself and my little dog. Thank you all

After 42 years in the animal industry, I have just declared this Veterinary practice the consultancy for what will become the best dog breeding facility in Australia. They are a team, and everyone I've met is highly professional. They have hard, high standards and soft hearts, what else could my animals need?

Went to Stewart St today because someone had poisoned our dog. Spoke with Jessie on the phone and saw Dr Chun Wong when we arrived. Immediately took bloods and we had results within 20 minutes. Our worst fears were realised and we found out that our beautiful 8 month old puppy was in renal failure. Dr Wong was compassionate, caring and empathetic. He walked us through our options and when we decided the most humane thing was to euthanise her, Dr Wong gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Vet Nurse Jessie was also incredibly caring and supportive. They both made one of the toughest decisions, and hardest days of our lives so much easier. Their genuine care for animals and people was clear today. I cannot thank you all enough for everything you did for our family today. I wish we had more time with our puppy, but without you, she would have suffered so much more. Words will never express our gratitude for the staff at Stewart St Vet for their assistance in our worst moments.Thank you Dr Wong and thank you Nurse Jessie. You are both deeply incredible people and made our day bearable. We will never be able to show the depth of our appreciation but please know that you've made a difference today.

I thought I liked and was happy with The Vets here but once again I am pushed away because of the desk staff. I am not a Vet and when my dogs start vomiting up blood I think I have good reasons to be concerned. 'don't shout at me don't shout at me ' was the pathetic response I got when I merely called (and in tears) and asked them to prepare for a potential emergency, oh but I suppose just prior to the holiday season, the nurse/ whoever decided they don't really want to be bothered.

I had to have an emergency after hours appointment for my dog . First time in 8 years to be vetted for an issue. Had the absolute pleasure of meeting Meg at the surgery and could not be more pleased with her attention to detail and care for my Belgian Shepherd. To see me at 10.30 at night was so kind and it didn't cost me the bomb I thought it would. Can't recommend these folks highly enough. All care and very kind and respectful of our dog's needs. You rock Stewart Street Vet!

Very good ppl, a bit pricey, but they open on Sundays as well! They try to fit u in even when they fully booked out!
