Woolworths Clifford Gardens (Toowoomba)

I had a very bad experience at this store. Never again will I go there. I ordered 2 of their platters for my sons birthday party. We got a message at 11:45am saying our order is ready to be picked up . Our selected pick up time was 12-1pm. When we arrived to collect our order it came out with only 1 platter and the rest of our order. Our other platter and our Main platter with thw wraps was not there. I asked the girl at the counter and to her reply there was only 1 platter in the cool room. She then checked with the girl how was handling the platters. Colleen was her name and she told me we picked that platter up earlier . No one came to get 1 platter and why would we collect 1 item from our whole order and before it's ready time. I then asked the lady if she checked their order number and her reply was ,yes I'm not stupid . The customer service we experience was horrible! There eventually was 3 team Members behind the counter discussing the situation. They were all clueless given us no options what so ever . I ended up asking for a refund and asked who the store manager was , turns out the store manager was 1 of the 3 team members there the whole time . Such poor leadership skills. After I asked who the store manager was then she decided to give me a $20 gift card for the inconvenience. This was happening at 1pm and my sons party was at 3pm . I'm not happy about the mess up nor am I happy with the customer service.

Brought 6 peaches all looked good on outside all bad inside, threw them all out. beware

Front end manager needs to be aware of what's happening four people waiting five minutes to be served with one checkout open while she talks with a customer. Ever again

Spoke to the young man in produce today, i believe his name was ethan. very helpful and a great example of a good, hardworking employee

After grocery shopping in Woolworths Clifford Gardens we went through a checkout and our service attendant was so helpful and her packing was spot on I would like to see her again and thank her for her wonderful service her name was Trish.With thanksCheryl Stevens1/765 Greenwattle StreetGlenvale

The service at this Woolworths is nothing but appalling of recent so do yourself a huge favour and shop elsewhere. Yesterday was the final time I will set foot in here. There were only two checkouts open (as well as their beloved self-service section) and people cued all the way the shop from one end to nearly the other. After waiting for around twenty minutes I asked the young girl at the service desk if they could open more registers and was simply told no that’s it, live with it. There are no more staff available and that’s it but the irony is that there are plenty of staff around in the store and plenty of time for her to read a newspaper/magazine while at the service desk waiting for cigarette customers doing virtually nothing else. You know most other retailers would push through shoppers as fast as they could and would even help them via the self service units especially seeing how bad this was. She was quite rude and even had her name badge removed and would not even tell me her name to lodge a complaint or the shift managers name as I was that appalled with her and the way she treated customers. I tried calling to get hold of the manager afterwards but the phone rang out twice no one had answered at all. I just ended up walking out (along with several other people I saw) leaving their trolleys full and will never set foot in here again. Will be advising head office at the appalling way this store is managed and how some of their staff behave. Have you ever seen an Aldi store run like this? They open other check outs immediately and even the manager runs a checkout when needed not hide in an office in the back. There have been some lovely staff working here in the past but don’t see them anymore but this is the final time I will ever come in here especially the completely rude and incompetent young lady at the service desk. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Really getting sick of The Fresh Food People not selling food that will last to a use by date. Getting knocked into by staff doing the online shopping is getting a bit long in the tooth too.

Pathetic store! Won't even honour the Woolworths Bricks promotion where another store is out of stock & advises you to take your receipt to them. Don't bother!! They won't give you any. So much for customer service & team work between stores! Doesn't exist at Clifford Gardens

Such a great convenient shopping centre. We were there late Sunday afternoon but the variety of shops this place has seems sufficient for the location.And it has a great recycle program for coffee cups. Every shopping centre and coffee shop should have these!
