David Jones - Chatswood Chase

Very disappointed. Purchased a luxury bag. Asked for the dust bag, as all Luxury bags comes with one on its own. Was told they can’t find the dust bag that comes with my bag. Was given a smaller one that doesn’t even fit my bag. Then I was told, it’s better than nothing.

Rude and arrogant sales attitude - asked for where the socks sales are as I was at the sock section and that lady was in charge of sock section. She sounded politely to ask me how could she help but indeed her response to my question was rude and arrogant . She told me there weren’t any sales in this section at all but indeed she could have directed me to the trays of discounted socks items which are just located next to the section she’s standing. I’m sure there’s sales as I looked them up in website and it’s in the midst of EOFY.How unbelievable for a salesperson who has no idea of where her products are.

Want to publicly thank two assistants in the women’s clothing section who helped entertain my high energy toddler in a beautiful way so that I was actually able to try a number of items on and then buy 3 pieces of clothing. Really felt like buying some new outfits for the new year and these ladies made it possible. Thank you so very much.

Amazing customer services. When I buy there I fell confident, I know if product is not good I ban return with out questions.The online shop provide as well competitive prices and I happy to buy online as I know I have confidence with David jones.

Very disappointed with one salesperson‘a attitude in men’s swimwear (11am 20/3) at the Chatswood store. First he kept us waiting while he took a phone call enquiry then once finished, answered our questions about items on sale in a detached condescending tone of voice, giving the impression that we were interrupting his day. Have made the decision that in future we will shop online but at other stores as this type of behaviour has not been an isolated incident. Enough is enough.

Weeks ago, I went to David Jones chatswood and I bought the haunted house of Lego, It was a good experience, the employee a girl called Anna have been very helpful and nice :)

I bought 2 mattresses and 2 bases almost a month ago (just before Good Friday). I was told they were going to be sent to David Jobes warehouse a week later and then I was going to receive a call to have them delivered. The call never happened. I had to call customer service at least 20 times until I could get them delivered. 2 weeks later I got the 2 mattresses delivered and only one base because the other base was damaged when it got sent to the warehouse. Have they contacted me to tell me when the new base is coming? Of course not. Since last Friday the customer service team and the team in David Jones keep doing nothing. I was given the phone of the manager James. I called him today. He had no idea of anything. He told me he was going to call me today to give me an answer. Of course he didn’t call. Apparently he was too busy going from one meeting to another. I’m a manager as well so I know what it means to be busy. I don’t care about the meetings. I WANT TO SLEEP ON A PROPER BED, a bed I paid for almost a month ago. Are the beds even coming from Euro to take that long? I had to accept that when I bought the beds the staff took an hour to prepare the invoice; how long to I have to wait for a base to be delivered? This is ridiculous.

Wanted to buy a non-stick pan and visited Chatswood David John's kitchenware department today, but I was really disappointed – I found that all items' price tags had been intentionally removed. Having to wait & ask staff for one pan price and also asking the reason of no price tag on any kitchenware item then the staff told me - you could find the item price from the item package box stacked somewhere of the shelf !!This is so disgraceful & unacceptable behaviour from such department store giant. It is very clear that David John want to use this dirty method (by hiding already overpriced price tag - compared to other shops) to rip off their customer by using EOF discount as a trap. But this is completely wrong and it is actually turning their regullar customer away – based on such bad experience, I will never go back to buy anything from them!
