I'm building a kit house, but if ever I need an item or two, they always have what I need. I'd hate to see a Bunnings put this great local hardware shop out of business.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He sold me the wrong screws, and then when I pointed it out, he gave me the one I needed for free after refunding my money. Great service!

Helmut (or his assistants) nearly always have items I can't find at the big stores....and he is there to answer questions - I don't have to send out a search party to locate staff...

Don't be fooled by its size, they have always had everything I'm looking for. I've renovated my whole house through these guys and I'm amazed at their depth of knowledge and advice! Best hardware store I've been to.

A really helpful and these days unique old school hardware store. Love spending a bit of time browsing and has never failed to have what I need from grass seed to an axe. Definitely recommend heading here first over the larger hardware stores of the area.

The best little hardware store anywhere! Helmut has it jammed full of stuff and he is always hood to bounce ideas off! Recommend you go there before the big chain stores.

This is a fabulous little Aladdin's cave of all sorts of hardware and tools, the sort of place you can go in and say, 'I want a gizmo for a whatsit, plus the brasses off a goose's bridle since it's Hallowe'en' and not only will they have it in stock, you can have a choice of colours. Not sure if it's closing down as there was a half price sale on there Saturday 15 January and it wasn't open this morning Monday 17 January at 9.00 a.m. although hours are currently advertised as being open at 8.00 a.m. It'd be a shame if it is closing down, you don't get this excellent local level of service at big places like Bunnings.
