Kincumber Boat Ramp
Great spot to watch the sunset and see the ducks. It has a flat walking and bike riding track to take the family with a play area on the way along

Brisk walk along the Concrete pathway with clear markings on the path for Pedestrians and Cyclists. Not too busy at around 06.00-08.30,but I'm told between 09.30- 14.00 usually busy. 2.7 km walk to Davistown one way ( I did it in 26 minutes, 45 seconds one way at a moderate pace,,, hey I'm not a professional walker you know !). You can either do this walk at a leisurely stroll ( listening out for the cyclists who sometimes MIGHT ring their bell), taking in the lush greenery, the Waterway( lots of benches along the way to rest and relax ) OR go at it Top Speed. Brilliant for Parents,Prams and Toddlers.

Great place to stop if you're on a walk or in the car. Ducks are always here to great you.The wharf is quite big here where you can look out over the calm waters towards Davistown and St Hubert's Island.

Kincumber Boat Ramp
Shallow water, muddy ground under foot with broken glass bottles and debris. Severe lack of parking with no parking for boat trailers, this once used to be the locals place for boating and waterskiing many years ago, before yet another retirement village in Kincumber took over the grass open paddocks that extended all the way to Kincumber Hotel. Was once a great place for boating families, now a spot for the ducks to nest, foot path to Davistown for bicycles and walkers, no longer a place you can launch and retrieve your boat, at the boat ramp. If the tide is low, your trailer wheels won't even get wet.

This is a nice chilled relaxing spot. Great spot to launch the kayak, boat or just go for a fish. Generally it’s not too busy. Lots of shopsClose by if you need to grab some lunch. There is also a great walk along the water all the way to Davistown. All you have to do is just follow the pathway. Dog friendly area as long as they are on leads. I

1. There is NO way a boat much larger than a dingy could get there or leave from there. The ramp is useless for us & it was one of the reasons why we chose to live near there. There is also no parking for cars to leave their trailers even were launching possible.2. It is great for picnics, but with only two sitting areas, weekends especially are busy. Also silt & weeds build up there, so the “small beach area” is not very appealing.3. There used to be a sign not to feed the birds there also, but many people are seen to feed bread to the birds, so the area is also full of ducks, seagulls, bush turkeys etc.BREAD should NOT be fed to wild birds as their stomachs bloat up with bread & they’re not getting the nourishment required & will eventually die of starvation.4. There are a few car parks, but not enough, so some will use the ramp for parking and the street (Carrak Road) is chocker block with cars parked on both sides of the road, making it dangerous for incoming or outgoing traffic. This is also dangerous for the retired elderly people living nearby.

We went there for a picnic and to feed the ducks. There were many ducks and it was wonderful. The area is beautifully maintained and it was a great family area
