Coolum Thai Spice
We decided to try this little Thai restaurant on our last night in Coolum and wished we had done so earlier as it was amazing! My husband had Satay Chicken skewers and a Chicken Laksa and I had the mini Spring rolls and a Prawn Cashew Stirfry. In all my life I have never had such an array of vegetables in the one dish! There was Red capsicum, Green capsicum, Baby corn, Bok Choy, Mushroom, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Green Beans, Carrot, Bamboo shoots and Cabbage as well as other Asian greens and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were really nice and attentive and the outside area is dog friendly. I would highly recommend dining in or getting takeaway from this restaurant.

Coolum Thai Spice
This was a great Thai experience. Service was super slow as they got really busy all at once so we had to wait. But that’s ok. At least they bought out the entrees straight away so it tied us over as we waited. We eat a lot of Thai so I’m super fussy and I’ve had better so I can’t give it a 5, but it’s a pretty decent feed and I would most definitely go back if I was a local.

This place is incredible. Great food and great service.The new owners are very friendly and accommodating.Forget all the past negative reviews these new owners are exceptional. Highly recommended.

Coolum Thai Spice
The staff were lovely when we first arrived. But our first dish took 45 minutes to be served then the next dish 15 minutes later. The second dish ended up being wrong as well. Rice was also not served with the main dishes. We had to chase up a waiter and the rice didn’t come until 10 minutes after we had chased. The food was not very authentic Thai either.

Mediocre at best. Had fish cakes for an entree, and it came very dry almost impossible to chew. Should’ve sent it back to the kitchen rather than paying for it. The main meal was better, probably 3.5 stars. When I went to the counter to pay my bill, the person who was there (maybe owner) gave me the PayWay machine, as soon as I tapped my card he proceeded talking to someone else. Wasn’t asked how the meal was, no goodbye etc., I won’t be going back, that’s for sure.

This is the worst Thai I have ever had. Aside waiting for 40 min after the time they told me to come and pick up my takeaway, the food was nothing short of disgusting. I’m sure two of my chosen dishes came straight from the freezer, as they were cold and tasteless and the third dish tasted like they just pored a bottle sauce over the meat, of the said flavour, and didn’t even cook it through, it was terrible. I very rarely write reviews, but this was so bad, I’d feel guilty not writing one.

Highly recommend dining here if you are looking for authentic Thai whilst in Coolum. Located on the main strip in Coolum, across the road from the beaches. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was delicious! I had the Garlic and Pepper Seafood, that had fantastic flavours and fresh seafood with veggies! My partner had the Pad Thai with Chicken which she loved! Great flavour and the service was fantastic and people lovely. I will definitely be going again next time we stay in Coolum!
