We stopped on the way home from Hepburn Springs. A lovely little winery, you can book in for a three course meal ahead of time but we just stopped for some tastings. Tastings cost or you can buy a bottle of their lovely wines instead. I've been a couple of times and always walked away with a couple bottles of wine. The outdoor area is beautifully designed and is a great spot in lovely weather to look out over while sipping wine.Stopped here again! Bought more delicious wine. Never fails to impress and not far from Melbourne. More wine in the car.

Amazing wines, amazing service, amazing well thought out food! Left full but not bloated. Chef only works off a fire pit and the mains we received were incredibly well cooked, a true testimony to the chefs talent.Staff members were very considerate as was the house sheep dog Magnus!

Wine tasting guy offered a snooty and cold welcome - and then obviously doesn’t think women rate, or are potential customers. As a result of that they missed sales. Two (similar looking) waitresses are super efficient but need friendly/hospitality training, instead of school teacher vibes. Male waiter was warm, efficient and lovely.Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. (No you don’t get a menu). View from dining room is across a little pond with lounging decks. Outdoor dining area very attractive and also protected. Lost points only due to staff.

We stopped by hoping for lunch and a glass of wine on the way back to Melbourne. We found the dining room closed and a group just leaving. Being hungry, we almost left. But, we were a bit curious about wine from this area, and the gentleman behind the counter just seemed genuinely nice. We’re very glad we stayed. We tasted every wine available, and every one was solid. Some feature characteristics of their varietal (eg fruit), some focus on the land (terrier). We learned a bit of backstory about each one from Bern as he poured them. Tanya, who works in the vineyard, happened to stop by and share a bit about the history as well.We left with wine and memories.…as for lunch, Bern pointed us to the Cosmopolitan in Trentham, but that’s a different review.

Went here very recently and the food was so good. It’s a lunch set menu and booking is essential. They have different mains for different tables so make sure to ask whether you can pick the one you want.

The food was delicious, the cured meats were very nice and the patè was soft and creamy. The lamb was our favourite. It is not the cheapest of places to eat but the food so nice. Very close to the main town of daylesford. You can pass by and just do some wine tasting if you like, if you want to have a meal bookings are essential. You can't pass on the deserts

Wow , what and experience we went to the winery today to have a small lunch and a tasting, but we left with and had an amazing experience which we weren’t planning on. The Two chefs had a 3 course lunch available so we took up the offer. The food was absolutely Amazing all of it … the smoked Salmon with beetroot red onion and horseradish was incredible , the desert to die for and so was the first course. Well the Chardonnay!! What can I say we bought two bottles. Well Done Passing Cloud. Thank you two the two Chefs you prepared Amazing food . I would also like to say the service at the wi e tasting table and the Resturant was the best, we will definitely be back. Cheers

Wonderful Birthday Celebration at Passing Cloud Winery with the most generous 3 course menu designed by the Chef. The vineyard surrounds complement the restaurant, creating an exquisite dining experience. The local wine was an excellent complement to our meal. I'll be back.
