Cozy place and nice Korean BBQ. But they are pricey. You will shop the meat on the shelf, put them in a basket, pay at the counter based on the price on the package. You will take the meat to your table. They will serve you 1 free steam egg per table, but when I came to my table the egg was already cold. You will grill Bbq yourself. They have self serve side dishes bar where you can take as much as you want.If you are rich, it will worth to try some Wagyu steak which costs about $40-50/pack/100g? Other than that you have to pay quite a lot for the meat you shop, excluding the service fee, which you would pay at the end, costed me $20.

ButcheRant Korean BBQ, offers a dining experience that combines mouthwatering flavors, high-quality meats, and a lively atmosphere.There are a lot of various cuts of meat, including dry and wet aged meats that bring a whole different flavour experience. One thing I do note is they are lacking in marinaded meats. This is something some may have issue with.The selection of meats was impressive, ranging from beef, pork, duck and chicken (might have been duck didn’t look too closely). Included in the beef is high quality wagu with amazing texture and marbling. Within the pork, highly recommend the aged pork belly. Further you obtain unlimited side dishes which assist in adding the extras that you wish for.While ButcheRant can be slightly on the pricier side compared to other Korean BBQ options, the experience and quality of the food make it worth the investment, considering the portion sizes were generous as well. This is a must try for any meat lover out there.

Incredible concept, extremely high quality meats and unlimited free sides.Buy the meat and pay $10 cover to eat in the restaurant.Meat ranges from very good yakiniku to dry aged a5 wagyu from Kagoshima.

Cool new kbbq place with the 'buy meat yourself then cook it' archetype. Clean and bustling. $10pp to sit and cook as well as unlimited sides though they aren't anything special.Choices of cuts are quite high end. No beef cheaper than $80/kg and pork is > $45/kg.Duck was not bad but nothing special. The marinated pork belly was the best and also best value at ~$90/kg. Yakiniku beef was quite average and not very tender despite being $85/kg.Overall, pretty nice place with novel kbbq approach. A bit hit and miss with the meat selection

Insanely good KBBQ place. Top quality and amazing service. You can browse the large selection of meat and pay for it upfront (like at a butcher), then you pay $10pp to sit down and grill it. You get a free steamed egg and unlimited side dishes (good range and high quality - self serve buffet style, so grab what you like best).As some other reviews have stated, I HIGHLY recommend the aged pork - have never tried it before and it was bliss.I wish I had more photos to share but I was too busy crying tears of joy as I gobbled up the toasty slabs of delight.

Food (5 stars): Great selection of quality meat and different cuts available. Self serving and free refills of Banchan (side dishes) is very nice too! You can also order other dishes if you don't just want BBQ.Price (4.5 stars): Prices are variable depending on what you get. $10pp if you want to dine-in which is not too bad given it has free and unlimited side dishes and steamed egg.Experience (5 stars): Fun experience to pick your own meat! You can also purchase meat to take home too. It can get busy inside, so make sure you book in advance!

As a regular customer who comes every week, I wish I can give 100 stars for such delicious food and friendly nice team there. I would definitely eat there every day if i could. By the way, make sure you get premium beef and steak, coz that is just the best I have ever eaten. Nicely marinated and cook. Ah writing this review makes me crave the steak again even though I just eaten there few hours ago.

The beef was amazing, service was amazing, it was a fun experience. Love the vibe picking my own meat and getting ultimate side dishes. I wish they had more variety aide dishes. They only had 8 different side dishes. The products I picked was amazing definitely will go back there again. Got a free steam egg that was so cool amazing.We had to park near the kingpin area, parking was a little bit hard but otherwise everything is perfect.

ButcheRant Homebush has a unique concept of picking your own meats (pick & pay at the butcher section - you can also purchase to take home!), and then dine in at the restaurant section for $10pp (I believe they charge $10pp for anyone who are over 5 years old) including unlimited self-serve banchan/dishes + 1 steamed egg per table). Meat quality is really good, but can be pricey if you choose mostly wagyu. For more budget options, there are sausages, smoked duck, pork belly slices etc.The banchan, sauces & salt options were good too! Friendly service, and they do get busy (hence bookings are recommended for large groups & weekends).
