I had my first dental experience with Dr Chris, The Wand and Laser today. Seriously Dr Chris all I can say is, where have you been all my life. Cara at reception is amazing and makes you feel so welcome and at ease from the get go, the staff I have encountered have also been amazing and I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to my next visit as I hated going to the dentist. Not any more, Thank you everyone at Smile Central If I could give you a 10 I would.

As a child of the 60’s my dental experience left me somewhat traumatised. Chris and the kind staff made me feel very much at ease. He gently worked on my crown with fantastic results. Thank you Smile Central.

I've been Chris' patient for several years now and was always very happy with the outcome. Love his professional yet friendly approach when dealing with patients. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Same day crown service is one of my favorites, as you can get your crown in less than 2 hrs, which is very impressive!

Everyone at Smile Central Dentist Aspley were so lovely and amazing! No need to be scared of dentist when you walk in and get greeted with a beautiful smile! It’s been years since I’ve been to a dentist and was very worried about being judged but all was put to rest as soon as I walked into the door. Everyone was so helpful and the knowledge they have gives me so many options to achieve the smile I’ve always wanted but I never felt rushed or pressured to make any decision. Could not recommend them enough, I wish I seen them years ago!

Dr Chris & the staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. I was comfortable during my visit for my invisalign consultation :) I would definitely recommend this place to my family & friends.

I’ve been coming to Smile Central for quite a while over a decade now. I will not go anywhere else for dental work. Dental procedures require a certain kind of doctor, and I can assure you that Doctor Chris is by far the kindest, most patient, and understanding dentist I have ever met. Since childhood I have had a terrible fear of dentists. Dr Chris and every single one of the staff at Smile Central have perfected the practitioner/patient relationship in every single way. I recommend Smile Central Aspley to anyone needing dental work done. I drive an hour each way now to go to see Chris and the lovely staff here. I recommend him to my family, friends, and colleagues. Trust me when I tell you that you’ll never be disappointed with a visit here. I know because I never have.

I don't usually write reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due. If you are looking for a stress free experience at the dentist and if you are looking for a dentist who is friendly, patient and caring but more importantly, extremely efficient, skilled, thorough and precise you have to go here. Dr Chris Lauf handled my debilitating phobia of dental work like a pro and I'm sure he cured the biggest part of it. I found him on Google after a long search for a dentist who ticked all my boxes and went there yesterday to have a massive cavity filled. He was incredibly patient, worked very carefully and explained what he did every step of the way. He is a dentist who is on top of and trained in the latest technology in dentistry which speaks of a real passion for what he does. This was evident in his attitude throughout the procedure. Another dentist told me that he will have to remove the tooth. Dr Lauf did not even mention removing the tooth. He used a wand, which means no injection to numb the nerves in the tooth. It is a computerized anesthetic device. I hardly felt it. Then he cleaned the cavity with a laser. This was so surprising. When someone has a dentist phobia they are acutely aware of every sensation, sound, smell etc. The only sensation I experienced was the feeling of water splashing in my mouth and I could hear the clicking sound of the laser. Thats it. No drilling no noise no pain. He filled my tooth and it is perfect. He warned that the tooth might be sensitive for a bit, but not even that. Feels like a normal tooth. Highly, highly recommend. I am going back there asap to have all my teeth checked and cleaned. I just have to mention his rooms and staff as well. The girls who works with him are all super friendly. They made me feel at ease. The rooms are immaculate and so fresh and clean. Their care for patients are evident the moment you walk in. Attention to small detail, like a coffee machine in the waiting area and a fridge with drinks. The back of their patient history form is dedicated to understanding you past experiences with dentists and asking how they can make this experience more comfortable for you. Again a lot of attention to detail and patient care. What I love the most about this practice is Dr Lauf's passion for technology and being up to date with the latest in dentistry. He is everything you want in a dentist. I declined his offer to run a Netflix movie of my choice on the large screen on the ceiling or the offer to play my favorite music while in the chair. I focused on the procedure which was incredibly gentle. No reason to fear the dentist anymore. The search is over. I have found my dentist!!!

Chris and his team provided me with outstanding care. Their attention to detail and comfort was their utmost priority. As soon as I walked in the door I felt so welcomed and looked after. The staff all had a good rapport with each other which really stood out and made it a great relaxing atmosphere. Definitely the most relaxing feeling you will ever get going to a dentist with Dr Chris and his team. I will be back.
