Luxury Afloat House Boat Hire -Tin Can Bay

Had a fantastic 7 days on the 'Sirius'. Tincan bay is a great spot for fishing and crabbing and the boat was perfect for that environment. Ben was efficient and helpful. I would definitely do it again. I really enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful time on Sirius, the houseboat and tinny had everything we needed to explore the beautiful waterways which were full of life. Ben was full of helpful advice and we appreciated his hands on navigational instructions. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a completely relaxing getaway.

We hired the Sirius houseboat for 8 days, June 2021 and explored the beautiful Fraser Island Strait. We had 5 adults aboard with plenty of room to fish on the back and a large area to chill at the front of the boat and dance the night away on the top deck under a million stars and we’re lucky enough to see several shooting stars. We cooked meals on the bbq every night including roast pork and veggies.In summary, clean and tidy, beds comfy, extra bedding available in storage cupboard, good shower, all kitchen facilities provided, fridge with small freezer and huge eski provided plus we brought along a few extra large eskis on the back of the boat connected to our own solar panels on the top deck, intermittent tv reception as expected, DVD player perfect, big dinner table and new cushioned seating, radio and bluetooth music connection to the houseboat surround speakers excl top deck which you can hear music ok from below. Many thanks Ben for the great houseboat experience which we had a blast.If your thinking of hiring, you’re in for a real Qld treat. Highlights of the trip are reflective sunsets on glassy waters, whales, dolphins, dingos, and variety of fish on the bite ❤️

I cannot speak highly enough of Luxury Afloat House Boat Hire (Tin Can Bay) - in particular the awesome Ben.3 clueless women on a fishing adventure - pumped and ready to go.We booked 7 nights on the Alexander. Ben shared his knowledge and passion for the water with us and answered all of our silly questions with patience whilst showing us how to navigate the waters....Good teacher however not so good students!Turns out we anchored in a dangerous spot on the very first day and Ben happily came back out to help us navigate the boat to Kaurie Creek before the sun set.For the time we were on the boat we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Such a beautiful spot of the world right on our doorstep. The boat was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Plenty of space to throw out a line and the peace and tranquility I was seeking.Sadly on the afternoon of day 3 we had to leave due to a family situation at home. As soon as I notified Ben he offered to come straight out and navigate us back to port safely so we could get home ASAP to our family.Ben, thank you so much for everything you did for us. You have definitely made some regular customers and I cannot wait to come back again.
