RUDE, AGGRESSIVE AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - DO NOT RECOMMENDNovember 2022 - booked in my car for service to replace brake pads.Immediately after service, there was an issue with the brake pads (caused by the November service). Booked in another service to have this fixed which wasn't available until mid January.Mid-January 2023 - Rons suggested a fix that I advised I didn't think would work. They didn't take my advice, and claimed they fixed the issue (presumably because they had to do it for free and didn't want to spend much time on it). As soon as I drove out, it was clear the issue was not fixed. Not even a little bit.Called to make another appointment which wasn't available until mid-February. I accepted this but was beginning to feel very frustrated by the wait times and lack of prioritising my service since they created the issue!Late-January 2023 - Called to calmly ask if they could prioritise my car since they created the issue and I shouldn't be put at the bottom of the list each time they don't fix it correctly. Ron was immediately aggressive (clearly as sick of me calling up as I was of having to call!) and hung up on me halfway through the conversation. Unbelievable.It is clear that Ron does not want to deal with any difficult car issues, and has no commitment to taking responsibility for mistakes or to customer service. I have also since found out that he misdiagnosed the issue in the first place, so I'm glad I didn't waste any more time or money on this place. Stay far away. I will never be back.

10/10 service.Ronnie helped me with my car which has already been heavily modified and is often turned down by other shops because of this.He called me and asked if I’d like to pay for certain parts that needed to be replaced before he touched them which is really nice. He did a full clutch replacement, transmission oil, plus a full service in just under a few hours. He also got my brother out of trouble with his car and replaced his starter motor in a few hours notice as well.He was 100% the most honest and friendly mechanic I’ve ever been to, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car. He was completely open about what needs to be done and was happy to source cheaper/more expensive parts to my liking.By far the best mechanic in Launceston!

Prompt, friendly service. Good rates. My first time here, have moved area and needed a new mechanic to do the less basic stuff. I have a Falcon, these guys obviously love Falcons, so I fluked the right place it seems. I have no problem in going back.

The guys at Ron's were amazing and really lovely. My car wouldn't start but I knew what was wrong, told them what it was and they had it fixed within days & I've finally got my car up and running after months! They were straight forward when telling me what would need replacing in the future and were more then happy to look up prices so I had an idea of the cost for next visit.I highly recommend them and I will definitely be going back when it needs its next service. I have already recommended them to several people who are choosing to use them for their next services as well.Great work guys!

Great blokes, excellent work, fair prices. Ron and the guys have kept my old X-Trail on the road (warped head, leaking fuel tank) without costing me a fortune.Straight talking, good service.

Happy with their service on my Volkswagen. Good guys. It's a bit difficult to find at first: drive in the City Mission laneway and it is down the lane on the right. You can also access via the Burson Auto parts laneway/carpark.
