Saka Hair Studio

I booked for an appointment 1 week in advance. On the day of the appointment, I showed up and the salon was closed. I ended up waiting for 1 hour for this appointment as it was confirmed 2 days prior through text and email from Saka. I ended up leaving after 1 hour and sent an email to them. I later got a call from Jennifer claiming she was from Saka and that Aggie had sent me a text message the night before and had tried calling me as well and the call was not going through. My phone was not off and I did not get a missed call, neither did I receive a text message. I did tell them this a lie and if they were having difficulties reaching me, then they should have contacted me on my email address which they also have. I just think this is appalling, it’s unprofessional and disrespectful. To add on this, I am a repeat customer and each time I come for my appointment they are always late, and I mean up to 30 minutes late. Saka needs to do better, and respect people’s time. Also, please work on your professionalism.

What can I say. I am from Geelong. I was having really a hard time to find hair and makeup artist for me, my mother and my mother in law due to our 4c hair and skin complexion. I was under stress to find someone who can accomodate our hair and make up needs. Finally I found Saka hair studio. I approached the girls express my concerns and requirements. The girls were really accommodating but most importantly they are amazingly great at their job. The girls (Agata and Mimi )are talented, kind and friendly. I booked them for 4 different event for me,my mother and mother in law. I am have half Indian so for my traditional I wanted to do Indian bridal hair style and makeup Agata and Mimi’s approach towards my requests were already positive and solution focused. Agata and Mimi I can’t thank you enough for doing my hair and make up for my hens party, Heena,haldi, traditional engagement and western wedding. You guys are amazing at your work. Any future bride thinking to go with Saka hair studio please go ahead without a doubt. I am booked with these girls for life. Any family function or big events I am calling these girls. I will be leaving for my honeymoon soon and I have done my braids at Saka hair studio.

The best silk press! My hair always comes out looking perfect! Agata is amazing! The atmosphere is so fun and uplifting. I leave feeling so good and my week is made. Getting my silk presses here is always such a boost to my confidence. Agata is always kind and makes sure the experience is wonderful!

No professionalism and terrible customer service. Despite booking 3 months in advance, my appointment was cancelled less than 12 hours before at 11pm as they forgot they would all be on leave". Over the course of trying to get my deposit refunded

Beautiful Salon, Amazing Services!! The girls at Saka Hair Studio know their stuff. My experience at shop was seamless for start to finish and I couldn’t be happy with my braids! Hands down the best place in Melbourne for everything braids ☺️
