Decent fish and chips. Not the best, but better than average. I’ve tried Ivanhoe Fish & Chips and also East Ivanhoe F&C, and found Ocean Blue to be far better than those.

Definitely the best and most reliable fish and chips available in Ivanhoe. Sometimes the fish can be a little rough, but the chips and potato cakes are second to none around here.

Highly recommend going here, they have amazing chips and I recommend asking for extra chicken salt, it makes it that much better. They have great service and all their food is amazing. My family goes there weekly and we haven’t found a better place anywhere.

I ordered my food at 5pm with estimated delivery between 5:45-6:05. it was actually delivered at 8:10, which led to lots of difficulties with a very hangry 5 year old. When I called Ocean Blue they just asked me to call menu log and hang up. Once the food was finally delivered, everything was very fatty, the chips were soft and nothing warm anymore. Not to recommend at all.

Good quality old school fish and chips. Flake was firm, potato cakes a little thin and overall a decent feed that you don't feel heavy after eating.

Ordered some chips and potato cakes over the phone. Man asked if I wanted normal salt or chicken and I opted for the latter. Picked up on time and straight home. Chips were firm and good size but unfortunately slightly under cooked with hardly a sprinkle of chicken salt to taste. Potato cakes were thin and some broken up and flimsy. Lost me

Absolutely terrible! Chips are always fatty and oily. No consistency at all. When we brought it up with them they hung up on us and got all mad. Really poor customer service! 1/10 wouldn’t recommend.

Ocean Blue Fish & Chips
Ah this place, brings back memories. Ocean blue is quite close to where I used to go to school (Ivanhoe Girls') and I occasionally went there for food after school. Have to say, from pineapple fritters, chips to fried dim sims and potato cakes, they are all downright tasty (unfortunately they don't open on Mondays)! The staff there are friendly people as well! Sadly, now that I've graduated from Ivanhoe Girls', I don't really have a chance to go there anymore. Ocean Blue, thanks for being there and supporting me during my high school years with amazing food.
