I've owned a 15T petrol log splitter for 3 years and had 3 failures from what I consider poor design, 2 serious failures. The fuel bowl leaked fuel, the flywheels key shafts failed, then finally the most serious caused a fracture in the main mounting bracket that could have lead to serious injury or death, and has yet to be resolved.

I bought the 34T Kinetic Log Splitter.Used this to split nothing but Jarrah, no problems with the unit, handled the big rounds easily.The money spent was an excellent investment.The staff were friendly and easy to deal with.Would have no hesitation recommending anyone to Forrestwest.

Bought a shed from forestwest.Good service at the shop.Very helpful.But the product is absolute rubbish.A nightmare to build as the parts are numbered incorrectly.The instructions had 2 builders scratching their heads.At least 50% of the holes don’t line up.The nuts n bolts are rubbish.Definitely not a 3 hour job.This is without a doubt the worst product I have bought or assembled.If you want to stay married or have friends don’t buy this rubbish of a garden shed.

We purchased a log saw and followed the attached (but almost unreadable) instructions. these was visible damage to the main frame and the unit would not safely" line up. To the extent that if the unit was turned on

I purchased a 18 tone petrol log splitter a few yours ago, its been a awesome machine smashing any jarrah I throw at it. These splitters are so easy to move around even through the bush. The support I have received has been so good and they will do anything to help you if needing parts and support. Highly recommend forestry west in Canning Vale for product and service.Jock

Delivery of the 1500W wet saw was very quick by courier and set up was easy. I replaced the wet saw blade without trying it but with a new $100 diamond blade it cut through 45cm quartzite like butter. I love the wet saw. I’ve hired them through Bunnings in the past and this one is far superior in set up... big deep table with built in accurate tape measure, good spray control and water reservoir. Clean cut, powerful machine. Easy to use.

Superfast delivery, the 26 Tonne electric 3500W 15 amp splitter is a unique product in the Australian market. Matching the power of a medium - large petrol powered splitter with the quietness and reliability of electricity.So far only used it once for about 5 - 10 mins, but did all that it claimed to do. You have to assemble the components and lifting equipment is advisable.Would be nice with a trailer coupling as the whole rig weighs approximately 200 kgs.

Terrible customer service. I purchased a faulty product that I had for one day. I called the shop the next day to be told email a picture showing the issue. He told me he would contact the manufacturer and get back to me. No response 4 weeks later. When i called the man to discuss the issue, he hung up on me as he did not want to discuss the issue infront of a new customer at the counter....avoid this shop and it's product's

15t kinetic log splitter. Failed twice in two years splitting Jarrah . Absolute junk too many moving parts with no sort of guides to keep them running straight. Once jammed there is serious amounts of stored energy. Save ya money and buy a hydraulic splitter from Australia

ForestWest 18 Ton Petrol Log SplitterReceived delivery within 3 working days from Melbourne to Sydney - amazing given the current Covid restrictionsVery well packed, but a bit tricky to assemble, needs 2 people and probably clearer instructions.Was a bit worried I had bought something a little under-powered for my needs but I was very pleasantly surprised.Chopped through green hard gum logs 400 mm diameter, with no problem, occasionally had to have 2 goes at the most gnarly ones but on the whole went through like a knife through butter.So far I have not found anything it cannot get through.First impressions - highly recommended
