Finally a place that gives a remedial but relaxing environment in a beautiful (but not pretentious) environment.By far one of the best massages I have received. The room was clean and spacious, Laura my therapist was equal parts wonderful and professional - letting me relax completely (so many places I have been they keep wanting to talk to me about my job!). The heat pack at the beginning and the hot towels at the end were an added bonus. I enjoyed it so much my partner booked his mother in the following week. Will be back every month for sure! Thanks Laura!

I have recommended to all my fam and friends who like massages. Within one session, my therapist was able to identify the cause of some pain I had and release tension in that area. I’ve been three times since and can’t wait for my fourth. Very experienced and friendly staff!

The experience was okay but I won’t book again. Akaya had a lovely manner but the massage felt very much like a standard sequence, and my #1 priority tension spots around my shoulders didn’t get much attention at all, even though I spoke about that being the reason I booked in. That got max 5 minutes of the whole hour and the massage provided no real relief. I also had to say twice that my skin was pinching, and ended up with bruises on both sides my butt for the next few days.

Beautiful spot in North Melbourne with the loveliest staff. They took me in eventhough it was last minute appointment when I was desperately needed a remedial massage. Max was great with the remedial massage and the room was cosy and all the massage oil smelled amazing.

Best massage I’ve had in years. Zen place, lovely staff. Equal parts remedial and relaxing, I feel healed and rejuvenated. As a nurse and breastfeeding mum, I’ve been in all sorts lately but Max worked wonders. Highly recommend! I’ll be sending my friends and whanau here.
