Woodford Family Medical Centre - Local Family Doctors

SawDr Uditha Wijaytunga (VJ) for the first time at this practice. This Doctor was great, very thorough and caring. Will be making this practice my regular medical centre

Professional staff and fantastic doctors. Always eager to assist in anyway. The Doctors here will always get to the bottom of your ailment and direct you to the appropriate services for further investigation. Love Woodford Family Medical Centre.

I was impressed that I, a new patient, could get a same day appointment for a start. Receptionists were pleasant and helpful and my new doctor was professional, seemed interested and more importantly, knew immediately how to deal with my problem.

As a first time user of the centre I found the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The centre is in a convenient location with good parking.

Friendly staff, wait area clean, very busy centre. The doctor was lovely but running a bit late. But what centre runs on time. As this was my first visit I came in with no preconceived options, I will be back.

Nice staff however the clinic was shut/locked due to a staff meeting during the middle of the day and during appointment times. By chance the door opened from the inside letting myself and my son inside out of the heat. There I waited 20 minutes (after my appointment time) as staff did not attend to appointments during the duration of the meeting. Elderly were left outside the locked door in the heat; if it wasn’t for my 5 year old opening the door from the inside for them, they would have waited the whole time in the sun. Not once did the staff behind the counter acknowledge those who walked in.My doctor then was left confused as to why the staff never let him know I was there on time for my appointment.Very disappointing. Meetings should be held at times where it will not impact business in the future as people take time out of work and school to fit appointments in through their day. If there is a staff meeting during business hours- then appointments should not be booked through those times to avoid what happened today.

I booked the appointment 3 days prior for 1015. I have a 14 month old. They called us in at 1120. No apology or acknowledgement of the wait. It didn't seem overly busy there.I asked the staff to assist with a computer upload issue, which they've done several times before, but was told it's not possible without a batch number - for some vaccine ten years ago, from overseas.The staff there are friendly and helpful. Maybe there just needs to be more of them?

Average. First visit to a Doctor in many years. Staff nice enough. System flawed. Filled in all requested forms online. Including all concession details. But not automatically flagged for billing purposes. Would have thought the whole point of filling out in advance. On attending apparently my appointment didn't come up on the Doctor's computer. So he saw other later appointments before me. Leaving me waiting. He apologised when I went in. But again computer system error.

Got a text saying the doctor needed to see me. Booked appointment, went. It was a post surgery appointment I'd already had, so a waste of my time and money. Not happy with having to pay for an appointment I didn't need and they didn't bother checking I'd already done it.

Counter staff are very polite helpful. Doctor didn't even turn up for work until nearly 30 minutes after my appointment time.
