Really happy with the service from First Sheds! The team helped us with a new driveway and did an exceptional job.Initially we had this booked a couple of months in advance. First Sheds were able to move everything forward and deliver well ahead of schedule. The boys were, neat, tidy, and well knowledgable, we felt we in good hands throughout the whole process.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend First Sheds for concreting, driveways, custom sheds or other building projects. These guys were great!!!!I was give their name by a concreter I use after a woeful experience with another ACT shed supplier based in Fyshwick. I was dubious at first after having been burnt, but.... These guys came through in spades!!!I originally thought I wanted a simple machinery shed but changed my mind twice...Responsive team in the Mitchell office (ACT) updated my orders and kept me informed of delivery and works schedule the whole time.The boys who did the job were fantastic and I can guarantee in my area were the only tradies" working in the rain to finish the build.If I had room for another shed I'd be using First Sheds Canberra in a heartbeat."

We used First Sheds for a knock down of an existing carport and installation of a garage and separate workshop/studio. From the admin team to sales, to project management and the work team, every single team member was professional and competent. The quality of work from all the tradies was excellent - everything was completed to a high standard and it was really important to them that we were happy with the end result. Communication throughout the project was excellent. We also had two different neighbours mention that, for such a major project, the work team was considerate and quiet with minimal impact on the townhouse complex.The little studio they did is really cool - we are using it as a gym but it could be a home office or rumpus room and was heaps cheaper (and easier!) than getting a builder to extend the house. Highly recommended!

Would recommend first sheds all day long. They were the only shed company in the state of NSW to erect a 45deg pitch roof on my shed. The other 7 shed companies would not do this.Nic was always responsive & was there to solve any problems. Frances also was on the ball throughput the whole process. Would definitely use this company again.

First Sheds Canberra custom designed our shed. All work from design, obtaining approvals excavation, concrete slab to construction was undertaken in a professional manner.The team worked through the issues of wet weather and Covid restrictions. We are happy with the finished product.

I highly recommend First Sheds to anyone that asks! The team did an amazing job and the shed came up beautifully. The shed was part of a new property build and First Sheds was very accommodating and understanding of all the moving parts and coordination required to get the shed in place. Could not recommend First Sheds more. They were attentive from the get go, and very well priced. They were very communicative when there were any delays such as rain. Great shed and looking forward to spending many hours in it!

I engaged first sheds to complete a carport and storage unit on a recent development.The job required custom design as I was limited with gfa and boundaries but still needed storage.They came up with a design to suit the space as well as ticking all the boxes for approvals.Worked with first sheds from design right through to handover.The job ran smoothly and and I am very pleased with the end product.I would recommend first sheds for any job, residential or commercial.I will be using them on the next build.Cheers guys

I would like to build 2 sheds, 192m2 each shed. I was new to the area and relied on Google review to search a good one. First Shed appeared to be an excellent company as it has all 5-star reviews. I thus decided to use First Shed and my nightmare has begun.1) they wanted to charged me $297/hour for the 15T excavator (with operator) for the earthwork. I then found out that the market rate was $150/hour (with operator) when I asked Divalls (a big and highly regarded earthwork company in Goulburn) to rework the pad for me. I even felt more disgusted when they tried to charge me for 10.5 hours per day. Note that the work was carried out in winter, at the end of June 2021, we do not even have 10.5 hours of sunlight in winter (and it is hard to believe an operator can work 10.5 hours a day straight without having lunch and breaks). It was worse when I saw the outcome of the earthwork. Dirt piles were all over the place, at least 5 of them. We had to ask Divalls to rework the pad, as you can see in a photo number 5, it was nicely done.2) they have never confirmed me any number. For example, the height of the pad of the 2 sheds were 800mm apart, which was ridiculous. They were only 8m apart and the level of the 2 sheds were 800m difference, how can I walk and move things from one shed to the other? Francis, the director, said he sent me an email to confirm a number. I asked him to forwarded me that email, if he sent it, I would be fully responsible for that. He kept silent and did not reply my request as he never sent that email. Attached was the screen shot of the email I sent him.3) Attached is an email confirming First Shed was late. After 9 weeks, all they did was the earthwork, which was a disaster. This led to half a year delay and loss of production.4) They charged us near $20,000 for the plumbing work, which was even worse than the earthwork. They subcontracted another plumber to install a water system for my two sheds. The jobs included:a) connect to my rain water tank (about 5-meter from my shed) and supply water to both sheds (about 4 for each shed)b) install drain points for both sheds (about 2 for each shed)c) install stormwater downpipes from both sheds and charge back to water tankAll we've got were troubles. Here were what we've got when a plumber said the job was completed"a) water supply leakage. We observed this problem about a week after he "completed" the job. We noticed the water keep leaking from the rain water tank and it only dried up when I closed the ball valve right at the rain water tank.b) rain water is not charged back to water tank at allc) broken drain pipeAttached are some photos of the "completed" work that their plumber "completed". Note that the wooden boards that the plumber was using in the photos were stolen (he used them without asking me for a permission). The boards were pretty dirty and ugly as I used them for my gardening works. I would definitely say no if he asked

We had a wonderful experience with First Sheds from start to finish. The professional team took care of everything and went the extra mile in a few areas to make sure we were 100% happy. The shed and foundations are top quality. Highly recommended - would not hesitate to use again in the future.
